Here is a wordpress plugin that is free. It will put ebay listings in your blog posts based on the keyword you choose and it will give you a commission if people buy stuff through your links. Here is an example site I made with the plugin: http://www.bonsaitraining.com/ A video describing the plugin and where to get the download link (requires your email but that's it, no money, it's free.) can be found here: http://www.affomatic.com/ebayfree/ You can use the plugin to add listings to an existing post or just create a post with only ebay listings. What this plugin is not: It's not a fancy ebay plugin with 300 different options, if you want that there are plenty of paid versions you can buy (bans, phpbay, etc) What this plugin is: A simple way to get ebay listings into your posts with as few steps as possible. Curious if putting ebay listings in your blog will make you any money or bring more traffic? Find out without spending a dime: http://www.affomatic.com/ebayfree/ I created the plugin so if you have any questions or comments fire them away. Enjoy
Looking very good Mark, as all of your other creations. The best thing for me was getting a new 45n5 video with it
Hey mate - sweet plugin. Are you able to share any information with us regarding the success to date of the Bonsai blog?
@all - thanks for the comments, glad you liked the plugin @JakeThePeg - the bonsai site has been a test site for various plugins, programs, etc. I just installed it on that site a few days ago so no results. ebay is a pretty popular affiliate program right now, however I don't see many getting rich with the plugin, however if you want to try playing with ebay and wordpress you can't beat free my best luck on other sites with ebay listings is to put them at the footer of a content post that is talking about some product or reviewing it.
Thanks for responding mate. I've got a similar Wordpress blog I use for testing out plugins etc too, so I can totally appreciate what you're saying. Do you use any particular plugins for putting eBay listings at the footer of content posts?
why do the urls need to be masked? I make good money with ebay and google traffic with no masked urls. hoping others will provide some templates, info is on the plugin page no, just use this type of keyword plugin @all - I'll probably do an update to this int he future with some of your more popular suggestions, so stay tuned. got a few more projects to knock out first but there will be an update
some of the popular plugins/scripts like BANS, phpbaypro are masking them... is that a valid reason ?
it's up as far as i can tell, still trouble? i wonder why? superstition? for good looks? or some other reason?
thanks for your reply... yes is down, but has something to do with some GEO issue (I am from Italy). For some reason I see... nothing as there is no domin at all... (it happened to me once with another american domain...) pretty weird . Can you provide me a download link? I would appreciate
the download link is on http://www.affomatic.com I won't post it elsewhere, sorry @all - I just made a major update to the plugin, if you haven't checked it out yet you might want to, improvements include You can limit the ebay results. You can choose the country. No more editing a text file, it's all done from inside wordpress. You can choose the sort order. You can limit your results to a specific ebay category.
