WTH: Hiring a couple people for Joomla Project

Hi everyone, I am working on a project at militarycommons.com and though I am good at Joomla this is in no way a one person show. I want a killer site that really shines. I think by looking at the initial stages it's in now you can get an idea of what i am going for. So I am hiring a couple people that can bring something to the table to improve the site. So here is what I need at the moment and of course if you think there is something else I am missing let me know and I will add it to the list.

    - sh404sef installed-not active, need a layout the way it is now in the resources area but with working sh404...so need someone that is very efficient at making things like this work and look good. I hate the standard article layout of text links. I want the site to be a bit 2.0'ish

    - Need content written for military information and this can be seen in the Air Force medal section. I did the first three.

    - Someone to tighten up the general layout and maybe offer some graphic work. Your graphic work has to be equal to or better than mine. I did all of the site so far so you can get an idea.

Those are some basics and no I don't have a budget in mind but I seen so many threads of people needing working here that I figured I would post this and see if I could get some of you hired. PM me with what you can bring to the table and give me specific ideas. I am hiring those that have some solid plan of action. Also include what you would like to be paid. I won't hire anyone unless you have some solid examples of previous work.

Anyone that works with me on this could stay on for the long haul. This is a serious project for me but I have to get it off the ground first. This that won't get you hired is PM'ing me with:

    I can do seo...

    I have adobe....

or anything like that so save your time if thats what you are going to send.

    Wanted:

    Content Creation
    Graphics
    Programming
    Someone with CSS know-how
    SEF person
    Layout

Additional: If you want to pitch-in, initial link builders. Little seo projects, not full blown. Someone that can get the word out in the online military community.

Note to Mods: This is more than a $5 posting although I am not posting an amount. My apologies if I have broken any rules...I read them again to make sure.

    Hi adamx8,

I'm very experienced with Joomla (I assume you want 1.5) and do a lot of content creation (check out my thread in my sig). I've installed sh404sef before. Check out my portfolio in my signature. I'm available for the next two weeks and happy to do a short-mid term project like this :)

    Thanks,

    Anthony.

    Anthony,

Yes this is 1.5 as I am trying to move all my sites to the 1.5 platform. Have you checked out some of the content on the site? Is this your cup of tea? I wanted to make a note about the sh404 Component. I have gotten it to work and all of that except with a couple of the newer plugins. The real issue here is I am linking some of the content pages through html and not the internal framework of Joomla to avoid those section and category lists joomla offers up. So really is a complete navigation and look job with sh404 the frosting on the cake.

    Hey Adam,

Yeah, the content is no problem at all. I highly recommend you use the internal framework for URLs as you need it for most if not all modules and components (especially for 404sef). I've moved sites from 1.0 to 1.5 so it's no real problem there. Moving from 1.0 shouldn't be too hard to keep all the sections/categories intact. Let me know :)

    Anthony.
