This is what I have read. Does any one know if this is true?

If you're talking about sig. links nope they aren't nofollow on THIS forum.

Take a look at the HTML source and you'll notice that there is no nofollow attribute in the sig. links it just shows them normally. When in doubt view the source, and search for nofollow.

It is nice it is dofollow. I am really hurting for some links on some wacky topics (such as my webkinz polar bear sig link!) Thank you dp for letting me build links up the good old lazy way!

It is not true, this is a webmaster forum so if they were to make everything nofollow they would have quite a few angry webmasters. You should get the nodofollow firefox plugin which will tell you whether or not links are nofollow or dofollow, it comes in handy.

or you just simply right click the links on the signature in Firefox then look if their's the "external nofollow" if it has then its nofollow if not then its dofollow. And now as I see it I think the forum uses dofollow links in sigs. :)

Are you talking about digitalpoint or other forums?

Digitalpoint is a dofollow and this is the reason why webmasters like to hang on this forum.

A link is a link. Do you think Google will ever target signature links from forums?

Most likely webmaster forums are do-follow.

Yes, it's true. Most likely webmasters forums are do-follow. It's a way (I think) to attract more and more people to participate...

It's easy to check if a site or a forum is do follow or not. Highlight the sig, right click and view selection source if you're using Firefox. Like what they said, most webmaster forums are do follow. :D
