    Hello,

I have a wordpress blog installed in a directory on my site and am having problems with it. The problem that I'm having is although it seems I can post article to it, when an article is posted, clicking on a link to the article results in and error message. An example of the kind of error message I get is as follows:

    Not Found
The requested URL /moneyblog/2006/stored-value-cards/ was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

...I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the blog several times, however, I still get the same error message. I need someone to help me resolve this issue.

    Anyone?

    Thanks,

I bet is a problem with your .htaccess file, did you erased the whole directory of the blog before reinstalling it? Check your .htaccess files

    Thanks for responding.

I kinda have a feeling it is the .htaccess file but I'm so affraid of messing with it because the truth is I'm very inexperienced in all of this.

    I didn't erase the directory before I re-installing it. Should I have?

Also, what should I be looking for in the .htaccess?

Anybody have a clue about this or is willing to try to fix the problem for me? I would be more than willing to pay.

Since I'm a complete noob when it comes to this stuff, would you mind elaborating a bit more about what I need to do?

    Thanks!

Try going to the WP admin screen, click on Options, click on Permalinks, and click on the "update permalink structure" button at the bottom.

Thanks guys. I ended up getting a coder from scriptlance. I tried a few things and couldn't get it working.
