Editing PSD

Hi all,

I have a template here which I need to edit. The menu is made of jpeg images so I need them edited. I have the PSD opened in photoshop and edited some text using the Text tool. When saving, I hit File - Save for Web. I selected the layers which I edited and saved...It asks where to save index.html so I overwrote the file. The text is updated okay but the template is not aligned in the center anymore (aligned to the left), the footer is gone and the background is white instead of grey as it should be.

Can someone explain to me what i'm doing wrong and how to properly edit the psd? I read a few tutorials I found and this was the way it showed.

Try flattening your image (Layer>Flatten Image) before saving

 

having the same issues, have you been able to fix this ?

I figured it out...take a look here, it explains it perfectly. I forgot the last 2 steps of selecting slices and images..
