Thread: Weird Sales Fluctuations

  1. #141
My earnings are down to 0 for the past two weeks.

Before that up to 200 / week.

I was checking the links , and they record fine my id, but I am not sure what could be wrong. This seems too much of a dry period.

Could it be an issue with clickbank?

That is an interesting one, talking about dry periods I had a first sale in 2 months, today !!! it would be interesting if you now get a sale or two from today would'nt it ?

Guess what, customers are sending me emails stating that when they enter their credit card details they recieve ""Unable to process your order at this time."

So, i tried asking one of my clients to send me his credit card details and the same error occured, i also tried with 2 of my own credit cards, and the same happened. (My credit cards are fine and they normally work with clickbank)

Guess this explain the no sales today (After a good day yesterday)!

Fuck :/ I usually get 7-10 sales a day, most happening before noon. Today I haven't got any and I thought something was up but all my links and traffic checked out. So here I am still paying for clicks still... I really wish there was a way to be warned about this shit.

Oh my god, this Clickbank is seriously messing about.....I don't understand how everyone keep saying it's so good, when they CONSTANTLY are having problems?

I think there doing alot more that we are talking about. They are going through big changes at the moment, in almost every aspect of their business.

The global launch, the new ad serving platform.. They are redoing almost everything.

BUT, that is now excuse to not tell affiliates promoting clickbank that things may be iffy for a while. Now I suspect this is one of those days when sales start trickeling in later on in the day. They have been doing this alot lately.. Where you think you had a bad or slow day, then right before the end of the day, a couple more sales pop up. I think it's all the upgrades to their business.

yep today has been worse than ever the sales started coming in a couple of hours ago, before that nothing like they were not able to process ANY orders, i reckon im losing 50% of my sales per day minimum. I cant understand why a multi million pound company is having this problem?

They should be able to sort this in a millisecond and yet they dont even admit there is a problem, if you contact them they reply with a pasted response about checking hoplinks etc they dont even address the payment processing issue.

Sure, but exactly how long are we gonna have to put up with this shit?

We are trying to run businesses here.

Probably because these problems are inconsistent, I personally had no sales on several accounts now, however on just 1 of my products im making good sales(as a publisher).

Its weird since i normally would have averaged around 30 or so sales till now on the other accounts combined (as publisher and affiliate)..

This shows that some products are effected and others are not...

Upgrades are good but its not an excuse for such problems. Its better to have a modest system that works than lot of junk and the most important part does not work all the time!

They never tell us whenever they have problems, well actually they do but only after it is corrected! This is unacceptable and costs people thousands

this is the thing that gets me. they could at least send out emails or even have a twitter account??? its not that bloody hard to keep us informed. rather than just the odd blog post.

Its just neglegence from their end. Like the "latest" problem that they officially experienced for example:

"Partial Hoplinks Disruption - From 10:00 a.m. PT on 2008-11-12 to 7:30 a.m. PT on 2008-11-13 ClickBank experienced a minor system issue. The issue was resolved quickly and did not affect sales. A small number of affiliates have not yet received appropriate credit for a portion of their sales"

Minor System Issue?! Thats almost 24 hours! and obviously it didnt affected sales, just we affiliates did not got credit for the sales, who they are kidding

They have no excuse in not dropping us an email when they are experiencing problems

No sales for me for past 3 days... my advertising campaigns remains the same

This is the big reason I stopped using Clickbank all together. They claim they make a MILLION dollars A DAY in profit and they have problems like a company run off of a $6 hosting account at HostGator. Avoid Clickbank like the plague if you actually like getting commission for your sales.
