I got my dual-core box booted up this morning...

I'll be writing up a whole article with the building of the box -- as I took pix along the way -- and I'll be posting back later with that article :D

    UPDATE:

I'm running on this system right now. I'm hoping to, within the week, have a post written up with images all about it. I'm running ubuntu right now and it's pretty sweet. I'm still adjusting to this new ergo keyboard, and the dual monitors don't work yet, but I'm slowly making it my own :)

That's a pretty sweet set up, but if are going the linux route then consider suse with the new novell xgl interface; heres a video.

    Good luck with that!

it's been working great so far...just need to finish up some tweaks and speed tweaks and it should be running great. hard to bench it against windows though since it's a different OS..we'll see. I'll load up VMware one of these days.
