    I have no proof and as the post says ..just a prediction but

    I make the prediction from having watched Google for the last two years like a hawk.

    I'd even think of taking some bets on it ......

    maybe one way links....

    any ideas???

    Actually it is updated daily for Google employees so therefore in reality it is for us as well however we do not get to see the results of such every day, as the Google employees do.

    Google does this to keep us honest as much as possible...

    What you mention is also known as everflux which you can Google and learn how PR is in constant state of change as the web grows continually so too must links and PR.

    If you think of say an ice skating perfomance as to SEO...the performance is done when you have optimized the site but then we have to wait for the judges scoring ,,,even if the performance is flawless we can only guess till the score is made known to the public.

    This is another reason SEO fails for most websites as the webmasters do not have the patience to make a change and wait for an update to see the effect in the scoring...

    Many falsely assume since a change is seen in Googles cache... that it has therefore improved or worsened the score of the rankings.... when that is only a picture of the change... and not the weighted and scored result of the change.
