Wikalo.com! More FREE exposure for you!

I signed up and added a few ads. What do they get out of this deal? How is it free?

 

Well, I distribute the ads through the network of my websites that get more than 200k uniques and several millions of visits every month. I will soon start buying ad space for wikalo ads on other websites, based on CPM. Assuming that traffic increases, its obvious where my next step will lead!

 

What kind of link do you get from the ad? Straight to the website? SEO friendly?

Currently you are getting a straight link directly to the page, both from the wikalo main website (where categories are seo friendly) and from the content network. With the next system upgrade, you will be also getting a SEO friendly link with the anchor text inside the ad title!

All the ads get published on wikalo.com, and depending on your ads content it gets published across the network of websites. Some websites in the network target ads by country, others target the ads by related category. Just watch your webstats, you'll hopefully notice new refferers by the end of the month. After you visit the refferers, pay attention, you'll most likely see an "Ads by Wikalo" box somewhere!

Created free ad. I had a little problem when doing it though. When I first filled it out I had too many characters I guess. Your message said so, I think, but it was in another language.

 

Yup, I'm aware of that. System was developed in Serbian (my native language). It will be fixed soon! Thanks for the feedback! Ads have been approved!

I did notice that the first ads on your pages are below the fold, don't know if that is intentional or not, but thought I would mention it in case it isn't.

Also, I tried to register with a hyphenated domain in the email field and got this message "Email nije validan", I sorry, my serbian is nil but I guessed that your system didn't like the hyphens, so I used another.

Yes, layout has some issues in IE (I guess that you were using it), and the next update will have it solved. I'm just waiting for my programmer to resolve several issues, including the language issues! Also, thanks for the feedback regarding the hyphens! Wish you all the best!

I submitted 3 ads thx - I gave a false phone number, hope this is okay as I found that question a little too personal and couldn't leave it blank?

Ad creation was nice and simple, only problem being the same as camp185 with too many characters it took me a little while to work out what the error was. But great idea and best of luck!
