10 Reasons Why Widget Bucks Suck . Review !!!

Here are 10 genuine reasons why Widget Bucks suck :

1) Slow loading ads & frequent browser crashes too. WB discourages mobile readers and users with slow connection .Don't expect people with Dial up to wait till your ads load .

2) Some users have been rejected during sign up (invalid application) for no clear reason. People were said to be banned for no reason too.

3) Impressions are far less when compared to the real page views (partly due to slow loading ads). Nearly 15% of the impressions were not counted for.

4) Widgetbucks pays you by CPC only for traffic from limited countries .

5) New widgetbucks skins are pretty shabby and are only fit for bimbo blogs. The ads are no eye-candy.

6) Revenue from International CPM / Display ads are horribly low like $0.5 for 1000 impressions .

8) You have a very low chance of being paid. And when they make a mistake the blame it on others or give lame excuses ( see http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1069480 for more details ). I am not the only one ,there are loads of other users who haven't been paid.

9) Low CTR . Only new users to your site who have never seen WB Ad's might click on it , Don't expect returning users to click on it even by mistake. In the long run revenue through WB ad's will just reduce due to decreasing CTR .

10) Earnings fluctuate a LOT before being finalized . The audit reduces a considerable amount from your earnings . Many times WB treats valid clicks as invalid one's . A very non-transparent system.

+Their 45 day waiting period for being paid is no bonus factor either.

Widget bucks is pretty shady with their business . The reasons for their poor performance are unclear . Don't get tempted by their $25 sign up offer , in the long run you are going to face a loss.

My advice don't sign up for widgetbucks - give them a miss . And if you do sign up with them please post your failure story / the problems that you face here .

Existing WB users don't be optimistic about their service , if they are performing badly for you feel free to give them a dump , as of now I don't see any reason to stick with them . They get a thumbs down from me.You have been Warned , Spread the word.

You are sooo screwed . There $25 sign up bonus is like a doctor getting rid of your cold but giving you brain cancer instead - metaphorically speaking of course . Leave them now before its too late . Trust me they gave me hell (read the link of the 7th point in the list for more details )

don't like it don't use it maybe it works for some other people, I don't know...

I had account there - and most of my traffic is from U.S. but I didn't see any profits, ad sense is way better faster and earns more...

stick to what works for u.

 

WidgetBucks is probably the worst Ad program I've ever used. It's right up there with the likes of Clicksor and Bidvertiser.

still don't understand your problem but my website suck and I still get a 50$ check from them every month ... never late ... I use other service too like adbrite and clicksor ... I only receive 1 check per 3 month ... so I still love WB ....

My website get around 100 - 150 visitor a day only and I made 50$ per month .... that's not a bad service ... Even though It's slow yeah

 

I thought some staff on WB reply to your previous thread and said they will pay you or something. Maybe I'm wrong... If im not wrong, did that work out ok?

 

they did pay , more bcoz they were forced to as the thread got from attention ... even from sites like techcrunch , so they still suck to the core and they are not worthy to occupy adv. space on any website

yeah i did join widgetbucks too but so far not a single cent earning yet for over 2 years lol. i just earn some from bidvertiser like usd 50 to my paypal

 

WidgetBucks suck. Their "My Bucks" tab is never on time when showing earnings, so basically when you try to view your earnings, you will only see your earnings about 1-2 months ago as they very rarely update.

I have used them on a high-traffic site of mine, & I've only gotten paid $52 since I've signed up. A $45-amount remains in my account because I've simply stopped using them because they do NOT convert well at all. I could make triple the amount if I used another ad network on the exact same ad space.

WidgetBucks is very disappointing & unreliable indeed. The $25 doesn't even make it up, as I have left behind $45 in my account when I've stopped serving their ads.

 

I have pretty popular blogs but haven't yet reached payment limit ... their ads have the worst CTR ever!
