What do you think the best forum board is? I will be starting a forum soon, but I dont know which one is the best to use. Also, will I be able to get a custom template for that forum board? Thanks!
vBulletin is the best in my opinion, it has many modifications and themes. As well it is also very secure to use.

Opinions of X or Y is subjective. Yet Vbulletin is best in objective terms too because it is the most used forum software in the internet and used by largest and most professional boards (digitalpoint, sitepoint, theadminzone.com, winamp forums, autocad forums, bodybuilding.com, elitefitness.com, offtopic.com, literotica.com, disney community forums are just examples)

Which is best is not the question you want to ask. You should be asking what do you want from a forum software then look for the one that suits your needs best.
Agreed. vB is becoming bloatware in my eyes. It probably has a lot of features you won't need. I would say go with MyBB personally though .
Answer is easy: if you have some bucks to spend then buy Vbulletin (the best paid script for boards), if not then download for free the latest phpBB script (the best free resource for boards). Nothing else ...
