I finally got a QS10 Keyword!

I finally got a QS10 Keyword!

Just when I thought it would never happen I got a QS10 Keyword and all my other keywords lifted up one point.

The key things I did was:

1) I eliminated all the keywords that google had suggested and only used a maximum of three keywords per ad campaign.
2) I used only 1 ad campaign per landing page and made each landing page specific for that keyword.
3) I put the cost per click up high enough to give me around third spot.
3) I geo targeted my campaigns only in the areas I can sell to.
4) I limited the time my ads were on only to the times where there is really interest.
5) I used three version of each keyword "keyword", [keyword], and keyword and then eliminated which every wasn't working well.


Notes:
1) I have had my account for over a year and would have had bad history as i was using lots of keywords. Its taken 4 weeks to see an improvement.
2) Using many different ads for the same keyword can fool people into clicking on all your ads and realising they have already been there and they just quickly exit out. Best have less qlicks but longer time on your site.

Well, if no one else is going to bother, I will - Congratulations!

Actually (at long last!) seen some improvement in some of my own keywords. I have been extremely puzzled by claims of some to see increases in QS in hours or next day since nothing I did seemed to make a difference but finally seeing signs of life with lots of 6s up to 7 and 8s up to 9; It has taken 5 days though. Of course, it is not all good news with ave. CPC going up 20% at the same time!!??? Sigh!

Well done to you as well bejewelled, my cpc has gone up too but I will start reducing my max price if I start getting higher than 3 on search resultes.

There certainly was an update at some point. Initially, I had no 9/10 keywords (out of 10,261). Now, it's my most common QS (4723, or 46%)/

Strangely, I have very few 8/10 keywords now...

Congratulations for achieving your goal. I have achieved mine. And their are still unlimited goals in my mind. Everytime i achieve a goal. Another one appeared.

Even some of my most sluggish keywords are slowly pushing their way past the OK mark!

When I checked my account the other day, I found one with 10/10.

This is fairly a small campaign with little competition.

This campaign gets high CTR due to low competition. I think it is the main reason for perfect 10.

Low competition would help but well done anyway!
