Last year I made a special sign at the birds of a feather luncheon for digitalpoint members and I was the only one sitting there!

I would love to go, I'm even on my holidays right now, but I woould cost me too much to go San Jose, I think I rather invest that money and I'll meet you guys over there next year (hopefully) .

I am 20 mins away from San Jose, but the fees for sessions is way too HIGH

I will be at SES Chicago in December, but not SES San Jose. This will be my first SES. Will you be going to the Chicago SES Shoemoney? What can I expect my first time?

and some local ses's (as many as I can goto)

Interesting. When I was planning on going to San Jose last year I had never been to a conference before. It cost me about 6,000$ total in flight and conference for me and my business manager to attend. I was not sure how I would ever be able to justify that expense.

Now I laugh about it and wonder how much it COST me that I never attended these before. I instantly learned new things that had a dramatic increased effect on my earnings.

So when people ask me if they can afford the conference I always say... can you afford not to ?

ummm have you read the site ? there is 4 different paths so depending on your skill level or path

ummm have you read the site ? there is 4 different paths so depending on your skill level or path

Forgive me for being dumb, but I can't find it. I see a list of "who should attend", but it doesn't tell me much. I read the rest of the info on the page as well...

You can pick and choose sessions, or you can attend specific tracks you are most interested in.

One of my goals for the next few years is to get to an american geek-fest. I've been reading about them since my foxpro days! SES would be as good as any.
