Exclamation GDrive Found! Platypus Is Here For All You Lazy Backuppers...

Well, almost here:

Click that to see screenshot.

Via Digg: http://digg.com/software/Google_Gdrive_Surfaces

Quote:
# Backup. If you lose your computer, grab a new one and reinstall Platypus. Your files will be on your new machine in minutes.
# Sync. Keep all your machines synchronized, even if they run different operating systems.
# VPN-less access. Not at a Google computer? View your files on the web at http://troutboard.com/p.
# Collaborate. Create shared spaces to which multiple Googlers can write.
# Disconnected access. On the plane? VPN broken? All your files are still accessible.
Note that troutboard.com domain - registered to some geezer in California - Patrick Chan

Who wants to take bets on how fast it'll break once live?

Data mining bliss for them!

roadies has a spectacular aura aboutroadies has a spectacular aura about
odd. I've read around and it seems that perhaps that "sneak peek" was meant for intranet IPs only and for Googlers to share business knowledge (of course through testing their gdrive product). Still interesting.

I wonder which legend will register the platypus names... You think they will have any value?

Hm, were the links on that page, or the images, working when you posted that?

Travis will become famous soon enough
It would seem that once someone found it that it was taken offline -- Looks promising, wonder how much space we'll get for free
