Does anyone have suggestions on some quality freeware links that I could put on my site?? I am only interested in freeware/shareware... thanks....
Why don't you hunt through popular comp websites like CNET, PCWORLD, etc. They always have tons of those freewares/sharewares linked.
Thanks for the suggestion! I was kinda wondering if anyone had a great free program they have used that they think would be a really good addition. Thanks for your input!
Well I think my Free Regular Expression (Regex) Designer is a pretty cool tool (feel free to link to it) . But it might not be useful for everyone. Who are the people that will be browsing your page and what do you think they will be interested in? Ross
Well.. I am trying to cater to the average computer user. There is nothing incredibly technical on the site... but I guess I could add a 'nerds' section for people like us...
I have FireFox.. and Thunderbird... I need to add OpenOffice.. I currently have all the links under titles explaining what they are on one page... if I categorize and give each type of software it's own page will it hurt my search engine rankings down the road??
Snapfiles.com has tons of great freeware with the products homepages and other related links. When I'd like to use any software I need running on my pC, they're the first place I look around. Lately it was a kind of alarm and reminder and I found nice and fast little thing that can do it nicely
I need to add Zone Alarm... I have been so busy this week I've barely been able to keep up with the Tip of the Day I added... I will add a link to Open Office.. Zone Alarm and Skype this weekend... Let me know if you guys can think of anything else....
Check out http://freshmeat.net Mostly linux stuff, so not for your average visitor, but lots of great open source stuff. Here is my short list: http://web.csuchico.edu/~ka58/software.htm
