Please tell me this site is not running coop ads. It showed up in my log files and at the bottom of the page looks like coop ads.

    Heres the URL:

    http://www.free-toplist.biz/listen/935/index.php?sendmail=1&entry=6485

This breaks my heart. I have 2 little children and I can't believe shiite like this

Any way here is the host also:

    IP: 221.92.47.9, Host: YahooBB221092047009.bbtec.net

If these are coop ads how can this happen???

Gotta admit, I saw a mix of adult links with kids faces in the banners... looks like a definiate NO NO to me...

Is someone legitimately getting into the co-op and then changing their content?

BTW - where's the co-op ads on this site?

I'm not about to check the link, but I sure hope it's not. I guess people *could* create an add to legit content, then after validated, change the content of the page. If this is kid porn stuff, aside from being removed, I hope they are reported to authorities.

i'm not going to click on the link either, but it is horrible.

as a side - you don't need to run ads on the site that the ad is pointing to. From my understanding, you can run ads on one site, and use the weight towards another, although not this of course, but just in general

You have to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page after the disclaimer.

I'm sorry but its porn there are bare adult female breasts aside from the provacative baby and young children images all on the same site. If thats considered o.k. then I'm definetly pulling my sites.

So you can have a porn site that links out to otherthings? Thats playing with fire I would think. Any way I run a family baby oriented site. I don't want my ads on that site. No f'ng way

Right, but there's a review process for the ads as well, this must have been changed after the review. It's nasty.

If I remember correctly, this site was mentioned before for porn, and it was decided then that there is no way anyone can dig deep into every page of a site. This is just one site of that same "topsite lists" site. Perhaps topsite lists should NOT be allowed as you can't police every site that submits to them...

Thats skirting the issue. I can submit a top list of porn sites --how about a toplist of pharmsites?? I have a few of those I wouldn't mind getting into the co-op.

nooooooooo, you can't have porn period, that is against the rules. i was simply saying that site A can be in the coop and the weight can go towards site B, assuming both A and B are legal.

smart ad-theming would prevent this problem for webmasters with any sense of dignity. When is this coming out? I've heard rumors...

There are no ads pointing to anything porn within the domain (I just double-checked and nothing slipped through the review). But there is of course the issue that anyone can link to anything (with the ad network or not). I've banned the domain, so they do not receive any weight by running ads, so hopefully that will be enough incentive for them to remove the ad network from their site.

it sucks that this stuff is going on - and yes you can get arrested for having it on your computer. would be good if someone alerted the authorities.

i work with sexual abuse victims in my job and this sort of thing just makes me so angry and sad....

I just started looking seriously into this coop thing this week, and it seemed to be the best thing since sliced bread....

However, the last few days have brought up questions about spammy mesothelioma links and now this???

Should I reconsider this whole coop thing before I start putting effort into this?

Has the coop hit the slippery slope?

    Some honest answers/opinions please.

    Thanks.
