Estimated at around a 250,000 of which only approximately 10% get a monthly check of an average (again estimated) of $1.5k. Calculated from Google's quarterly SEC filings, check number subtractions and various guesses - Michael
I wouldn't say half of them get the minimum for a check... where did you get the numbers from? As many bloggers as they have using adsense I'd say something around 20% is realistic.
OK here is the exact number: 348701 publishers Actually I made that number up. See this thread is pointless
It's only pointless when people like YOU choose to post that nonsense! You're the first person to make my ignore list- Congrats!
Crazy Rob - who are you ignoring anyways? I didn't see anyone. Did anyone else see someone to ignore? LOL
Actually, he's partially right. Why ask such a question though? Maybe for a potential adwords advertiser it would make more sense into knowing their reach. As to answer the question, no one knows for sure. You'd be better off asking google, and even then you'd be hard pressed to get a real answer.
aw i wanna be ignored by ya! lol just kidding gosh i need to stop being online now and go write a paper.....
I've seen some pretty negative posts from you, but this one is a bit over the top. If the thread is pointless: 1. Why are your reading it? 2. Why did you post something to it?
Do you ever have anything constructive to say? He didn't ask for you to comment on his link. He asked you why did you read this thread, and why did you post anything to it. And he's right, you do post quite a few negative comments.
Mmm. I just searched for this the other day. There are some interesting threads on wmw: http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum89/4087.htm http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum89/3242.htm Someone suggested subtracting the cheque numbers to estimate how many people are getting a cheque every month. Also some stats on what you can make with adsense: from http://www.paidcontent.org/pc/arch/2005_02_09.shtml#012219 Ross
