Indexed pages have no description.

    I have a site that doesn't show in Yahoo and the indexed pages in Yahoo show no description but just a link. Has anyone else seen this and if you have, is your site ranking at all?

    Yes normally happens to me for newly indexed sites. Or pages with no content and meta description tag filled out.

    I would check your meta description tag and if thats filled in then just give it time to show.

    how many pages are indexed? usually new sites will have just the URL of the index page, but not the description.

    327 pages indexed now and only the link to the index page is showing a description.
