Q: What do I get if my idea is chosen? A: You get good karma and the satisfaction of knowing that your idea might truly help a lot of people. c'mon....not even a dollar, or a chance to meet or visit the Google HQ.
Money = everywhere / a common thing / paper-made Idea = only in your mind / unique / success-driven I'll give the people at Google 10 mil. dollars and all I want in return is for them to have a brainstorm and to give me complete rights over the idea resulted from that brainstorming. I'm 101% sure that they won't agree with that. Without an idea to sustain the initial search algorithm (the "BackRub" concept), Google would be 0.
Well if good karma and satisfaction is not quite enough, then maybe the winner/winners could ask for some recognition in the way of a link from the G (but I somehow doubt that would happen) Yes it is a nice idea, and a nice concept, everybody does the brainstorming and they put up the cash to make the idea a reality.
