Do you believe a "major recession" is coming soon?

What are the implications for us internet marketers?

How much are we going to be effected?

What was the last recession that you went through while making money through Clickbank or other companies?

It's my prediction that if there is a recession people will be less likely to buy things over the internet.

Here was my first thought after reading this.

On the positive end It might help us. we might get more and more people looking for ways to make money online. Gas costs and the fact that people are sick of working for someone else might be a few contributing factors; possibly meaning bigger downlines!

On the negative end.. Well I let someone else take it from here.

I've been writing a few blogs about here at Stock Market Chat

Recession mean inessentials go down. So there will probably be more "how to make money" sites which we can profit from, but downlines aren't much.

Sites that appeal to peoples needs will dominate the sites that appeal to their interests.
Products teaching people about how to cure their athletes foot or whatever would thoeretically dominate over something like "learn how to play guitar". Then there are money saving opportunities like how to build a windmill.

But this is all mental masturbation, or is it?

I don't know enough about the online marketing/affiliate marketing world so who am I to predict anything.
