iwhic.com server down

their servers patriotic and freedom are down since yesterday and there dont seems to be anyone answering emails.

 

Are you hosted on these servers or just seeing status here http://iwhic.com/whmcs/serverstatus.php

These statuses may be wrong at any point of time due to script errors.

Yes I concur. Freedom and patriotic are down up to this time

and no, we just not view status, we have sites hosted on those 2 servers, so we definitely know and positive that these servers are down

There usually quick to reply but they are ignoring me also.

I'm dissapointed.

It's about 12 hours since both server down now...and they are not reply my tickets...

I had reseller package there, i just want to know what happen, so i can explain to my clients.

My problem was solved by self. I found that my server not down, just the DNS. I remember that they move my account to a new server (76.76.15.235) but they told me that is not necessary to change my nameserver's IP because of clustering DNS.

My nameserver still point to 76.76.11.111 so, it can't resolve my domain because the server 76.76.11.111 is down.

So i fix it by self by changing ns1 to 76.76.15.235 and it works now.

But i still disapointed with IwhiC support, its too slow...

my sites were hard to connect and not sure it's related or not because not it got unrank on serps on keywords it should be... I also desperate to fix it but I dont know what should i do. hope they will fix it soon.

Same for me
Freedom have many problem, there are many downtime, and their support responds also too slow.
I get complaint from my clients since this many problem.
IWHIC please fix your problem, you have good reputation here. So don't make some fault like this problem.

im hosted on iwhic and yes my webs are down, yesterday and in monday to.

yes they move servers few times in last few monts, but they forgot to move my data base so i losted all entries... i dont know how long my site was without directory be4 i realised...

when i asked for new details they give me wrong ip adress and i losted another day trying to connect and see what happens, when finally i realise the cp ip was wrong and i connected to my cp what a surprise! my data base was empty!!!


PLEASE be ADVISED!
if you dont want loose your database, dont want your site down every few days do not host with iwhic they are inexperienced and overselled host, but yes they are very nice ppl - im sure soon when jason see this post he will answer quick and nice with his promises and other bs...
btw. my sites never fails so many times eaven with registerfly

yes, im sure they do have a GOOD reason maybe other server movment?, maybe dns problem? or eaven hacker atack?

just look for user iwhic and send them priv, it is possible he will not answer or he will copy and paste one of his answers from this forum (eaven wrong one - maybe by mistake but yes, happens to me, im so unlucky? or he is eaven not reading those priv complains?) any way, till now this works for me and my sites back to the red quicker...

lately they have sold pakcages at very low cost.. so naturally it cause so much load.. thats the case i think..

 

That may not be the case my friend, so assuming something is not good, as their prices are common for this forum, you and me.

Let's wait for answers from them. Keep faith for sometime in your host, they might have got some real problems, which they will come out off.

I am no way associated neither defending them, just coz they are here and good.

glad I get out FAST... I have a VPS from them for almost a month now. And my RAM usage is always weird. And also My BW usage is also weird too.. Or maybe HyperVM is just showing sh** .

iWhic was GOOD before be never the BEST. And NOW I just don't know.

Now I am in a different VPS, And I learned that my site only uses 30% memory compared to what I am using with iWhic... Prior buying my new VPS I thought I will be using so much RAM for my Website so I decided to get a VPS with 1 gig RAM, And now I am only using not more than 300MB....

I think the reason for this is that iWhic is overselling so MUCH...

Currently I am happy with MellowHost and 55Hosting for my shared hosting and reseller hosting and for my VPS, PM me hehehehe lol.
