Wow, I'd heard there were a lot of scammers on DP. I guess you guys must have been burned in the past, so I understand the hesitancy. Like yourselves, I don't work for free. Sorry.

To richlowclassjerk, I'm talking long tail keywords. If I was able to get myself #1 ranking for "make money online" in a week or less, do you think I'd be here?

That's a Google search for a review of "Confessions of a Lazy Super Affiliate", a popular e-book. You'll notice that one of my websites, Webbizgenie, comes up as the #3 result out of 25,900 pages. I probably could have grabbed #1, but I was busy and didn't bother to promote it much. (By the way, if you click on the link, you see the page no longer exists because I revamped the site since then and moved that page, but you can see it's still getting ranked). This was VERY basic stuff, and I'd be doing a lot more to promote your site than I did with that one page. It took about 3-4 days for me to get that ranking. I can get the same kind of results for your website within a week.

Think long tail. If you're looking for a few extra hundred+ targeted visitors per month and some extra link juice to your site, then I can help you. If you're looking for Myspace levels of traffic...I dunno, talk to Tom lol.

And Nigel, I never claimed anywhere to be a "firm". I'm a one-man shop who can help people get ranked in Google, and I offer low rates because I know that a lot of DPers don't exactly have huge budgets. If you feel it's "devaluating" your business, you can simply choose to outdo me by offering superior service. That's what free economy is based on, no?

Why do you make such claims and write cheesy sales copy? If you had a believable sales pitch I would have probably bought in but please, this sounds like you are desperate to get some cash from suckers. If someone with a decent rep gives a good review, then I might think again. Until then, this thread will become funnier every day.

Okay, I'm not sure what brought on this wave of negativity since I never said a single bad word about any of you.

I've posted this same offer in other marketplaces and DigitalPoint Forum is THE ONLY place where I've gotten such nasty attitudes from people. There's a way to express legitimate buying concerns without being rude about it.

I'm a scammer based on what? Lack of itrader points? I don't even know what itrader is, and neither do most honest people doing business online. Not to mention that some of the people expecting me to work for free don't even have many itrader points themselves...so why am I supposed to trust you?

You say it's wrong for me to expect payment for my work upfront, DESPITE the fact that I'm offering you YOUR MONEY BACK if you're not satisfied with the results FOR ANY REASON, and DESPITE the fact that if I was actually enough of a jerk to keep your money, you could complain to paypal and they could shut my account down. YET, If I do work for you and you don't pay me, there'd be nothing I could do about it.

If you don't know what an Itrader means, then you are right. Its best you do not post here anymore.

I will keep an eye on this thread to see what terms get ranking but you can make it to the top of Google with most long tail, low-competition phrases with only a few backlinks, so what you are offering appears to be basically worthless.

 

your best option is to offer a few reveiw copies to highly rep members at no charge and have them post their reveiw here.

 

I remember at least 2 threads were "reputable" members were offering seo services
and was a huge scam.
Anyway this kind of offer, no matter how legit is, is dead from the beginning
People will want the website ranked before paying and no sane people will accept such a deal

 

For such long tail search terms I can do it myself and I think most webmasters and SEOs here on the forum too.

 

Exactly what is it that you'll do SEO wise? Getting in the top page for a log tail keyword is normally as easy as writing a post with the keyword as the title.
The example you used for example has only 25,000 results (very low), and is not even ranked in google keyword popularity tool:
