Directory Topic Clean Up

    The directory topic needs some serious cleanup work; it's being overrun with solicitations, announcements, scams, and lists. Member since 2004 and I have never seen it such a mess. Please look into it.

    Yeah I'd have to agree. It used to be full of well known directory owners, reputable and friendly guys. Now every guy is in their spamming a link to their "5469" free directory lists.

    I try report the posts in there often but there are so many I could rack up over 10 reports a day. You should create a sub forum for list announcements or ban them.

    Infractions should also be given to those writing "thanks, submitted 2 sites" to the directory announcement threads. It's as bad as the bumping in the BST used to be.

    Keep the bad post reports coming. If we are busy working reports, we are not browsing the forums.

    It is every one's responsibility to help keep the forums clean. We do appreciate your help.
