That's a tricky question. Well, according to the Montenegro precedent N Ireland should belong to whoever the majority of the population decides

    It should be Irish.

It's an artificial state created during the Empire. It doesn't even have all nine provinces that make up Ulster - it only has six.

You're from Scotland.. But you comment on the status of Ireland's future?

You have no ideal.. I am from Northern Ireland, I get a say.

I was born in Northern Ireland, and my dad is from Northern Ireland.

Why start a thread if you don't want peoples opinions?

N.Ireland is doing OK under the UK government. Why change it?

Some of the British are so hypocrites, They are crying about our "occupation" of Judea and Samaria, But they occupied so many lands and they are still occupying North Ireland, that's OK?

about the topic - I am not sure who this land belong, can you bring some proofs and source that this area is really Irish?

I used to sympathise with the Irish, I used to think "let them have their insignificant mud mound". But as i got older, after being caught up in numerous bomb scares in London, Being evacuated from buildings on an almost weekly basis (even my school a few times), after seeing how petulant and childish they get with their marches and after seeing children called "protestant whores" on the way to school by unemployed alcoholics i changed my tune. Now my attitude is "shut up and deal with it". We own northern Ireland and there is nothing they can do about it, They should just be grateful we still let them live there.

It might seem harsh, But this is what happens when you bomb people. They stop giving a shit about you entirely.

I drink in an Irish pub, So i have to hold my lip a bit, But it has become apparent that even the normal people, even the normal people who have chosen to come live in London, Hate the English and hate the protestants.

The trouble with making your own bed is sooner or later you have to sleep in it. Northern Ireland will stay British as a matter of principle now.

I've never met a single Irish person in my life who hates protestants or the English.

"after seeing how petulant and childish they get with their marches"

The only people who get "petulant and childish" about marches are the Orange Order

Wow you really have been through the mill. I feel sorry for you Brits and went you went through - sarcasm

When you watch the news is it selective hearing? Fill in the blanks with your own beliefs?

Those people that march in their thousands every year call themselves British. Those people protesting and stopping children from attending school called themselves British and guess what flags they fly outside their houses?

The North of Ireland should be united. It belongs to the Irish and if the British don't want to be part of Ireland then fuck off back to England....simple.
