Hi to all After comparing both Mozilla firefox and Google chrome, I like this feature in google chrome. When we are using more tabs in these browsers i feel google chrome has a nice advantage. In google chrome every opened tabs are indicated as different processes in Task manager. So every tabs in google chrome are working independently in the browser. But in firefox, if one tab is stuck whole tabs stuck and we need to close the browser. So this should be an advantage in google chrome. But think about these advantages and disadvantages.
Generally no disadvantage, except the constant costs for each process.... And those constant cost disadvantage will be an advantage in long time period in the case of memory fragmentation.
I think it is a good feature in Chrome. The only thing to worry about is the amount of processing time that each chrome process will require.
I am still on the fence about chrome. The Tabbed independent process is nice. If one tab crashes you can still work with the other tabs (in theory).
I'm very impressed with chrome. I set as my default browser. Sometimes I use IE8 and FF Can't wait to see all the addons to this browser
And if you still prefer the one process way of doing things, load up Google Chrome with --single-process switch to use only one process space.
Assigning different processes to different tabs in Chrome is a good way of ensuring that not all the processes are affected if one tab freezes. However on the other hand the website title displayed in the Chrome tab is less to what is displayed in Firefox tabs, which would require us to shorten the title.
