The idea of course is a rip-off of Digg Spy, but it's cool, so... {shrug} It works with Firefox and Safari, but it doesn't work with Internet Explorer currently (sorry). I have a few minor things I want to add to it still, but I'm tired, and I'm going to bed now. So I figure you guys can play with it while I sleep. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/spy.php
Really cool...This is perfect for those of us that work at the same time. Now I can put this in the corner of the flatscreen up on the wall and just cherry pick the threads that interest me. No more clicking New Posts every 5 minutes.
That looks awesome Shawn! Very nice Also interesting to see how active this forum really is by seeing the new posts popping up everytime. Shawn the pioneer! Yay. Seriously Shawn, nice job!!
I put it up there so I could watch the news and stuff while I was working but I always end up watching Judge Judy At least I know living together is bad financially and if 4 women rent an apt together, one of them is always going to move in one of their boyfriends
Nice. One suggestion, add a little image next to the text link that we can click if we want to open the thread in a new window.
Awesome Feature, may be you can explain more to people who do not know more about this feature or may be new to digg as well. Cheers, Dreamchaser
I had it fading faster before (2 seconds instead of 4), but it was too fast... was hard to click on stuff if you wanted to.
Awesome - you'd think someone with degrees in History and English could come up with a better term, but that's honestly the first word that came out when I looked at this; kudos. Okay, to be honest, the first thing I thought was, "so what, it's not working," but then I reread Shawn's post and decided it would be best for this blonde to first reattempt to view it in Firefox, then came "Wow" and "Awesome" Personally, I could do withouth the "What" column, but a "Where" (which category, subforum) replacement would be more informative. As far as the open in new window, I personally like the way it is; I can always "shift+click" if I want to launch in a new browser.
