Hi everyone, My site was recieving around 1500 unique vistors daily from Google organic search results untill yesterday. Yesterday only 50 visitors came from Google. Google page rank still same. I did not buy or sell links. Any idea and any help wellcome.
Don't u think you shud wait for 4-5 days. You got less visitors yesterday, so i wanna say just see how many visitors u get today, tomorrow, day after tomorrow and so on..... It's hurry to make any -ve thought in your mind for your website. So it wud be better just check next 4-5 days performance of ur site.................... I know drop is big but u shud do wait...............
I think your site was ranking unknown many keyword that you don't know and yesterday your site's ranking down so happened. My site got top 10 ranking on new keywords yesterday.
This Time Very Problem In Google. More Site Page Rank Down and Also Down and Google Some Time in Result Also Problem.
Are you getting it all from one keyword, several keywords that's related, or absolute different keywords?
Check how many pages are indexed in google and is there any variation? Check for the position of your top keywords in the SERP and if everything is okay, just wait; be patient and everything will alright after few days...
Another point; Almost 4 weeks ago I added my another site web link to bottom of my pages (dropped one). Is it possible that Google consider this link as sold link.
Compare the position of your website in google for the same keywords now and before. You can use Google webmaster tools to see the position of your website in the past.
If you don't already have website stats, you should install something to monitor your traffic and visitor sources. That makes it much easier to explain changes in traffic. You mentioned that you linked to your other website at the bottom of this one. Google could be penalizing you for excessive cross linking, especially if you put that link on the bottom of every page in the site. The other possibility is that you had a temporary boost in rankings when your website was new. Now you may have been pushed down in the rankings. You'll have to get more incoming links from quality websites if this is the case.
Try to isolate the terms that dropped. If it is every keyword on your site then you should see if you have the -30 penalty. See if all your terms dropped to 30 or below in the SERPs. Another change in google lately seems to be sites that have a lot of content that previously wasn't considered duplicate content are getting hit. Product Review sites, article sites, product comparison sites, etc. Basically sites that have pages dedicated to something that a lot of other sites dedicate pages to as well. Even though you might have a unique review or article your site gets hit because it has a high percentage of "topics" that other sites have too.
