I tried registerign 3 domains but Godaddy failed to register 2 of them and only one showed up in my account.

I thought 'No big deal ill just get a refund' HELL WAS I WRONG

Just got a message from them saying they wont refund me for 2 domains that I tried to register but they messed up registration for.

Is there anything I can do to follow this up and force them to refund me? Even the who is information for the domains is another person so its not like they just arent showing in my account.

Godaddy is going down in my opinion.

A very sad and pennyless MM

If you havent' got the domain registered in your name, you have every right to get the refund.
Have you spoken to them yet? Why are they refusing refund to you? Any specific reason cited by them to refuse refund?

Strange. You have the right to get refund. Did you get any error during the registration?

They should and you have the right for refund. Its the same as stealing you money and don't want to return it back

Call them.. their customer service reps are always desperate to get a good review under their belt.. so if there is anything that can be done, they will do it.

If that doesn't work, ask to speak to the manager on duty.

If you get nowhere with him... your only recourse is to put in a complaint to ICANN. This really will do absolutely nothing to get your money back, as ICANN is generally useless. Look at how they let Registerfly defraud millions of people... they only stepped in when they finally got named in a class action lawsuit.

After you have done all this. Feel free to search the internet for blogs and forums that talk about registrars, and tell your story. If they won't provide you with service, then get their karma in order and provide them a little PR promo by kicking them in the balls everywhere you can until you get a warm fuzzy feeling of satisfaction. At that point, you will have an overwhelming sense of gratification, and you will be thankful to Godaddy for letting you go through this wonderful journey. :)

Let us know how it goes! :)

Got a response which was pretty quick for them just over an hour is very good response time.

Basically the person that first responded to my message over 2 days ago just put a refund request in without any other knowledge... Hence why i got refused refund. I have now sent them a reciept and the last 4 digits of the payment method.

This 'supposedly' will be enough for them to check the accounts and refund me the damn $40.
Its a shame because reputation management can be fun, of course the bad kind anyway!

Cheers for you help guys, Ill keep you update still if I remember

    !!KTHXBAI!!

Call them up...I never have any problems.

They have live customer support service.

Godaddy is only good for domain registering.
