Yesterday I was on digg and I saw an article about Comodo firewall so I went to check it out. Apparently they offer Firewall, Antivirus, Antispam and other security software for free. This is the first time I see all these products free from the same company. I’ve started using their Firewall and it looks pretty good. Does anyone here use COMODO?? How would you rate it?

Yes but zonealarm doesn’t give you free Antivirus. This is everything for free.

Be careful with the antivirus program, it slowed my computer down to less than snail's pace. I had to go back to a restore point.

From what I’ve red it’s a pretty good program especially if you take into consideration it’s free. To buy the same products from Norton or Mcafee “also slows your pc” you’ll have to pay around 79 euros year. I’m only using the firewall and it seems pretty good.

It is not good to use FREE or GNU licensed products because no one will take the responsibility if something bad happen. Always it is a wise idea to use paid versions. So, the vender/owner is legally entitled to take the responsibility.

You don't know how close to the truth you are there, I do need to upgrade my computer but in this case I think it was clashing with something, it was near enough froozen.

I started to get wound up at the time because I trying to watch the Italy match whilst sorting out my computer and neither was really happening.

For a free product it works surprisingly well. The firewall works pretty well and it doesn’t seem to slow down my Pc which is very good has for the Antivirus I wouldn’t know because I haven’t tried it yet. Did you mange to figure what was the problem.

I agree with you, it is a good product for free. I haven't had time to investigate why it frooze my computer, probably something I did wrong but I am a bit wary about installing any of their other products at this moment in time. I am interested in how good their firewall is compare to micorsoft firewall, whether it is better or not.
