    INFORMATION!

To all domain owners especially those who had bought other tlds apart from .com

Recently I received some emails regarding my domains. Please be aware of this kind of email and NEVER click on the link.

Of course, I DID NOT cicked on any links as thunderbird categorized this email as junk. *pets my blue bird*
For 5 days, I received 1 email on each day asking to click on the same link.
Turn out to be a hot topic in WHT about this type of scam. They regged a domain for 5 days and issue refund, just to catch any of the unaware person to buy domain from them. Ah, btw there are trying to sell the domain for Euro 452!! LOL.

I got this notification from nowhere.

    4. Seems like the messages are coming from an ad agency which I have no idea what/who.

Again, PLEASE BE AWARE IF YOU RECEIVED SUCH EMAILS AND NEVER CLICKED ON THE LINKS.

    Thanks for the heads up..

I have also had the same sort of email (not from the same person as you though)
I did a whois when I first received my email, and noticed the domain had just been registered, I did not visit the domain or follow any links in the email (that is important)
When I received the next email (6 days later) I did another whois and it showed that the domain had just been registered again. So I new that whoever it was was tasting, letting it drop for there refund then tasting again.
I wanted the domain (but not for the $500 they were asking) So I placed a back order on it. And as soon as the taster let it drop (to get there refund) my back order kicked in and I became the owner of it :D

It is important not to visit the domain, because tasters will check the stats of the site they are tasting and if that site gets traffic they will often register the domain in the hope of making money from parking it.

    Cheers
    James

Well, if you using paypal and already pay them, you can ask to paypal admin to reimburse your payment for that. Don't forget to tell the truth reason.
