I think it would of been nice if they told us they where changing their platform, and that their offers would not be tracking you can't just screw around with the people that make a living off affiliate marketing.

Well if we are not making any money their not making any money so now it's just a waiting game.

Wow, I'm glad I found this thread. I decided to register with the DP because of this thread! I work for a pretty large network (staying anonymous for obvious reasons) and I have some interesting information on EC.

EliteCommission is run by a few high schoolers and one 23 year old.

    According to http://www.itmilk.com/2008/09/08/interview-with-joshua-kopac-16-year-old-internet-marketer/

"There is myself, Joshua Kopac age 16 from Shelton, Connecticut. Rishab Verma Chief Strategic Officer, age 17 who is from Houston Texas. Joe Helewa Senior Account Manager, age 16 from Cresskill New Jersey. Also Dustin Cucciarre, age 23 from Starke Florida."

DirectTrack canceled their account because they are fraudulent. They all partake in black hat techniques, they've hired several marketers from Vietnam that run bots on major e-mail/zip submits that rake them in tons of money. DirectTrack has been investigating them for a while now and it's still not over. A buddy of mine with DirectTrack says they may pursue a legal case against them for their fraudulent actions.

If you are a tried and true black hat affiliate and can show proof of earnings from black hat techniques, all you have to do is contact EC (and let them know what you're doing) and they will approve you right off the bat. That's what I've been told from a few of my affiliates.

They've bounced countless checks to their affiliates, legitimate networks will have nothing to do with them, and they are one of the biggest networks for incentivized offer sites.

They also fraudulently scrape their offers daily, stealing tens of thousands of dollars a month from big affiliates.

To top it all off, Rishab Verma (one of the owners/partners) is in legal trouble for hacking his school's computers and changing his along with other classmates grades. His court case is currently pending and he could be charged with a 2nd degree felony.

Read more about that here: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=72635&currentpage=All

I know that the above issue is regarding THIS Rishab Verma because even though it doesn't mention elitecommission.com anywhere on the page, Google thankfully has it cached (not a cached page unfortunately, but they have the listing cached). Check out http://img522.imageshack.us/img522/6710/picture2zb8.png for proof. You can also type in "elitecommission.com friend hack" in Google to see the results for yourself (until the page is crawled again and updated). Rishab probably contacted this guy and had him edit out the post.

Anyway, if you're awaiting money from them, you may or may not get it. I guess it depends on how bad they want to keep making the money they have been making and defrauding out other networks and affiliates.

If you want to do your part in stopping these thieves, contact Ad-Tech (where they will be NEXT WEEK at the NY conference on booth 1820) so they just might stop their fraud! You can contact the NY ad-tech people at http://www.ad-tech.com/global/contact_us.aspx#na

Just doing my part to save this industry and to help the honest affiliates and networks feed their families. ;)

They are switching to a new tracking system as far as I know and should be back up soon.

I think it would be fair if everybody could read something true from somebody that actually works with EC.

Lets address the issue for why EliteCommission is currently down.
First of all EliteCommission does NOT approve blackhat marketers, nor encourages them. We have terminated tons of accounts because the networks that we broker some offers from have complained about fraud traffic. Fraudulent traffic has absolutely nothing to do with DirectTrack's script.

We had one huge incident where one of Directtrack's OWN clients (vietnamese) requested to broker some offers FROM us. Turns out that 100% of his traffic was fraudulent. Over six figures was generated by this network, and over six figures was scrubbed from us by our advertisers. So obviously, noticing the matching IP's, referral url's, etc, we had enough evidence to put a stop to this and not pay this guy. This guy has done the same with a few other huge DT networks, such as Copeac. They too shut him down and scrubbed all commissions.

Now, suddenly we get a complaint from DT. They are claiming that one of our accounts was used to access other networks. (hint, possibly the vietnamese man getting vengeance?!) Nobody on our team has a high enough knowledge of any kind of programming language to "hack." (my incident from high school involved network stuff + keyloggers, nothing script wise)

We are still an innocent network trying to get back in business. Directtrack did not take in consideration that we were possibly framed....

Next, let me briefly discuss my dilemma in 11th grade. The guy that made the post blaming me is actually the guy that changed grades, and the guy that caused this dilemma. My role was that I found a vulnerability, and I told this guy about it, and he took immediate advantage of it, involving some more friends. However, when we were busted, he told the authorities wrong information and pointed full blame to me. This raised suspicion, and since I was the oldest, I am currently being called the "master" of the operation.
Overall, my personal life should NOT be involved within this. No actual hacking was involved, and I was NOT the one actually tampering any data.

As for our affiliates/publishers. We value each and every one immensely. I apologize for not being able to reply to every single affiliate, and this is because we are getting quite a volume of emails and calls.
EliteCommission is NOT going anywhere, and we will be remitting payments once we can get everything solved out with DirectTrack.

Ah, and let me address some mini issues that "ecsucks" has said, they are just bugging me.

    1) There is not a SINGLE affiliate that we have scrubbed a PENNY from for no reason. Honestly, the most we have ever scrubbed from an affiliate has been probably around $5,000, excluding the network that totally frauded us. If you find me one affiliate that we have scrubbed money from wrongfully, ill mail you the amount we scrubbed.
    2) How does age matter in this case at all? For months, we have proven to run a network much more successfully then many other networks, and have been paying out well.
    3) To ALL affiliates: Please stop by booth 1820! Ill be glad to have a talk and go out for lunch!
If we are thieves, why in the world would we be attending adtech, a public convention?
    4) In addition to that, why are major advertisers working with us if we are unprofessional and thieves.
    5) We did not hire ANYBODY for using bots, or whatever.

Ecsucks, your claim is incompetent, please contact me, I really want to have a talk with you. This post was unnecessary and your research is garbage.

"Just doing my part to save this industry and to help the honest affiliates and networks feed their families."
Doing your part is badmouthing a good network with individuals that are working really hard to get back up. If we wanted to scam people, we would cancel our domain and go off into the darkness.

Good affiliates, please understand me, we are really putting in all efforts, it is very difficult to make such an immediate transition to a new reporting system, and we also have to reacquire our data from DirectTrack. The only reason payments have not been sent is because we are still in the process of getting our payout data information from DirectTrack.

I have nothing to gain or benefit from my post. You don't know me or who I represent so I have no advantage. Just take everything I said and come to your own conclusion. I have connections within DirectTrack and some of my bigger affiliates have also been big affiliates with EC. There is no way for me to know any of that information without having inside knowledge. I've had direct phone conversations with the owner of a pretty large incentive site who had to go as far as threatening legal action against EC if they didn't pay them for scrubbed/scraped leads, which I believe they finally did. I'm not making this up people, but believe what you will. I'm just giving you the facts.

I have nothing against teenagers running an affiliate company. But, when you throw in everything else I said and then add in the fact that you're just kids... that makes it that much worse.

And, you going to Ad-Tech doesn't mean your aren't being fraudulent in your business practices. You want more business right?

Surprising how come you never replied to my PM message.

Obviously you are trying your best to bash our network.

We haven't done any "mass" scrub for any of our affiliates, so I have no idea where this information is coming from.

You obviously don't know what your talking about and your just trying your best to win. (As we can all see you are trying to benefit from this post.... Don't tell me your not)

I wonder what company you actually work for, How come you have never revealed yourself, afraid to get bad mouth from other people or what?

... We're going to Ad-Tech to find more fraudulent customers??... Make more sense before posting.

I really would like to get in touch with you, as I see maybe you or your friend had bad experience with EC and we can help you resolve it.

    Cheers,
    Joe

Oh, come on Joe. No need to talk to me in private. If I wanted to talk in private I would have called one of you guys... you're contact info is listed on your site.

I never said you were going to Ad-Tech to find more fraudulent customers, I said, "you going to Ad-Tech doesn't mean your aren't being fraudulent in your business practices. You want more business right?" Meaning, more business = more chances of fraud on your part.

Honestly, I don't know if you guys are trying to fraud people or if you just don't know what the fuck you're doing. You've got a mess on your hands and I hope you can clean it up.

I'm not going to divulge who I work for because it's not a network vs. network thing here... it's just me trying to shed some light on the problems EC continually shits out. And believe it or not, other networks (aka: me) hear the cries of your affiliates, old and new.

Oh, and Rishab... I would check with DirectTrack again about you "working things out" because that's not the story I'm getting.
