It's odd, but I don't ever lose sleep worrying about Israel using their (possible) nuclear weapons on New York City. No one is worried about Israeli nukes for the same reasons that no one would be worried about Belgian, Swiss, Norwegian, Swedish, or Finnish nuclear weapons. Those countries are modern peaceful democracies, not third-world hell-holes run by crazy theocrats bent upon the destruction of all those who will not bow down to their personal gods. There is no comparison between Israel and the vast majority of her neighboring states.
No one? When did you last do a survey of, say, a few hundred million people in the Middle East? The way we are going to have a more enlighted conversation and learn is if we try to see things from each other's perspective. I personally am more frightened about Israel and the United States having nuclear weapons than Iran, Pakistan or India. Israel is the only country in the world which regularly and overtly assassinates opponents, including political leaders, on soil it has no juridisdiction over and often violates the territory of its neighbours: just yesterday it sent (American-funded) fighter planes over Lebanon and caused bloodshed. It's mother-country, the USA is the only country in the world to have ever used nuclear weapons and is currently threatening a country on the other side of the world with them on a daily basis. Try to see things from other people's perspectives, too: if you did a survey around the world, you wouldn't get much affirmation of your statement that "No one is worried about Israeli nukes". Not everybody sees from your point of view: survey after survey, for instance, has demonstrated that more people despise the United States than like it - did you know that? Did you know that, in many UN votes, something like 169 countries vote against Israel and only the USA (and maybe one or two other countries) votes for it? How decisive is that as to the world's views on Israel? Oh, in reference to your use of "possible" in relation to Israel having nuclear weapons, just because the mainstream American media, under the pressure of the Zionist and neo-Con lobby, does not dare mention them doesn't mean they don't exist. The evidence is out there; search the net. There is no equivocation: Israel has nuclear weapons and enough to blow up the whole Middle East.

It saved lots of lives because it put an end to imperial Japan and the war. Any country that would invent nukes would use them under the WW2. Especially if it was Nazi-Germany, London would be dust by now. The only reason that your city exist today is because of massively support from US. Gorings army was more effective than your spitfire shit for months before he made the mistake to concentrate on bombings. Hitler would take your country without the support from US.
