Proxies are DRASTICALLY underachieving

    OK, a brief introduction. At the start of April I opened my first proxies. FightTheBlock.com and sklnet.info were their names, and I spent a lot of my energy on FTB. I spent a lot of money promoting FTB but the most I ever made in a day was $6.50, and that more than halved the next day.

    Since then, I have left FTB running and started to develop sklnet.info. I've built some network sites, sklweb.info, sklworld.info, sklwww.info and more coming soon.

    I've had decent traffic, but here comes my problem. Take, for example, today's Adsense so far:
    Impressions Clicks Earnings
    1,489 1 $0.04



    All time:

    Impressions Clicks Earnings
    56,001 292 $26.30

    Now this is for all these sites: FightTheBlock.com , sklnet.info , sklweb.info, sklworld.info and sklwww.info . I'm assuming sklweb and sklworld have pretty minimal traffic, and sklwww is medium. sklnet is the best know skl site and FTB still gets decent traffic.

    I have two extremetracking accounts:

    Something worth noting:

    I have tried to use keywords on my sites for two reasons:
    More appropriate ads
    Not being blocked by filters

    I have experimented with different keywords on different pages, trying to see what works well. I generally stick to ringtones but these seem to be paying out really badly. I have tried forex on sklwww, with little to no clicks, and mob phone contracts on sklworld and sklweb.


    Do you think the problem is the layouts? The ad placements? Because for me a 0.07% CTR is suggesting I am doing something wrong.

    If anyone has the time, could they check out the sites and tell me what in the hell I am doing wrong?

    Sent you some tips in a pm :) .

    Edit: one other point I'd like to make is that you should monetize your proxified pages as well. Its not good to rely on just adsense.

    i think all depends on how you promote the sites.BTW how you promote the sites
    My adbrite average is $1 to $2 with only 4-5 proxies.
