The faster the abbas and isreali governments make peace the faster the palestinian people will go over to the abbas side. The first group of palestinians to make peace with israel will start recieving cash infusions like crazy from the rich arab gulf states. Mark my words folks.

I really wouldn't care if terrorist attacked military establishments and military people, that group of people is trained and prepared to respond, but when terrorist attack schools and restaurants with women and children then run back and hide behind their children, they become the scum of the earth.

for just a notice, the Palestinians doesn't agree for Abbas or Hamas view, they are sick from both of them because of internal issues beside the miserable condition of the Palestinian areas, Iam a Palestinian and many people like me see that Hamas or Fateh or any other movement rule must be ended, both of them is destroying our target goal, which is making a fair peace and start merging ourselves with the world culture and staying away from these sick movements or fronts.

If the relatives of Palestinian are being killed with some excuses without any ethics, than you cann't tell them the lessons of ethics. So as you so, so shall you reap. As Israel kill Palestinian you can also think that somebody from Palestinian will also kill Israeli people. It is natural thing. As you push something, same pressure will be retaliated.

That is because Israeli lives are far more valuable than Palestinian lives in the eyes of the controlled mainstream media.

So let me help you with your Matrix logic - a Palestinian terrorist opens fire on school children - kids who have no connection with what is going on politically - and murders them in cold blood. He is killed before he detonates a bomb to kill dozens more innocent and uninvolved children. With regard to the "reports" - there are a lot of American children studying in this school and it's no front for a movement any more than the suicide bombings that targeted civilians in restaurants or the park where kids played on the Tel Aviv beach.

If you want to talk about "provocation" we can begin with that which has never been remedied, Jews being killed and expelled from the surrounding Arab countries in the 20th century. Palestinians can enter but Jews no longer live in these countries in any number. Until you solve that problem, you've got Jews/Israelis bottled up in Israel. This is a complicated problem because despite the fact that there are people who do want peace, there are a many that don't. Below are the words of the late Palestinian leader and "nobel peace prize winner", Yassir Arafat, the man who refused to sign a peace agreement after all his posturing during the Oslo accords. Perhaps this is a never ending posturing about illegalities so that it eventually runs the Israelis out of town...

"Peace to us is the destruction of Israel."

I am sympathetic to your plight. There are good number of Palestinians who want peace and it is extremely disappointing and heartbreaking to read about the loss of human life. But there are bigger problems - who is "us?"

How can Palestinian "leaders" like Arafat die a **billionaire** yet that which surrounds him appears to be impoverished? There is also funding of terrorism via adjoining Arab countries, which earlier expelled Jews. Until there is an acceptance of Israel by these countries - which there has been clearly the opposite - these factions will continue to exist and be funded toward their ultimate desire, which is the destruction of Israel. Unfortunately I think that the Palestinian people are being used as pawns to this end. If there was such a concern, there would be plenty of oil money used to build housing or even relocate people. But perhaps that is not the priority.

I know that most Israelis want peace but unfortunately it is never guaranteed because this level of terrorism will continue to be funded until the ends are reached.

I will give 1 to 10 odds that there will be no peace in 2008. Who wants to make some easy money? Bet $1 and get $10 if there will be peace.

Talk about classy individuals. Arafat was the worst of the lot by far. I am with you on this but i think abbas should be made president of that whole areabecause he is the most moderate of the bunch. Will this sensless violence benefit anyone or will it destroy lives and families
As far as exceptence of isreal i think many of the gulf arab countries and a few others want to but are very afraid of the extremist elements in their country. Its so disheartening to see people on both sides lose innocent lives like this.:(

And if Abbas doesn't do as he is told, USA should find someone even more "moderate" that knows how to obey orders. After all people in that area are Arabs and they don't know who should be their leader.:)

What else can be done? This is the reality of the situation. Can the native american indians fight to get their land back. Maybe its time for them to settle for what they can get, and let that region return to peacetime.

This is the perpetual PR propaganda spewn since the days of Arafat so lazy Americans won't take time to understand the conflict and simplify it. The Palestinians aren't Native Indians being thrown out of their land by the invading British. Have you read portions of this thread or other information about the situation or do you just want to make this into a Hollywood movie about the underdog fighting for their freedom? Perhaps Mel Gibson can play Yassir Arafat - the billionaire leader who sold out the Palestinian people and could have easily signed a peace treaty. Do you know who he was?

The Jews were killed and expelled from other countries in the Middle East long before this conflict. It seems like you could care less about that situation since nobody is trumpeting the horn daily and that ethnic cleansing has already been done. Do you care?

The fact is the Jews will never get their land back - nor does it seem they be allowed to have the same freedoms and land that the Palestinians want in a tiny little strip of land called "Israel." Peacetime will mean peace in the Middle East - not just Israel. But unfortunately it's a one way street. Do you know how many democracies there are in the Middle East?

The reason I think the Arab nations do not want to give Isreal up is due to the fact that Isreal will just end up engulfing more and more land of theirs in order to create Greater Isreal. Would not you see this as a core reason slinky?

Whoever kills innocent people, whether the killer is a Muslim, Jew, Zionist or whatever is WRONG.

I guess we can all learn from the verse of the Qur'an that states that taking the life of one innocent person is like taking the life of the whole of humanity.

We should all pray that this violence ends.

I beg to differ on that, I do not see Israel engulfing more land. You need to go back to history as to who started the 6 Day War which resulted in Israel conquering land 3 times its territory. If they had wanted more land they wouldn't have given back the Sinai Peninsula and opt to move away their settlements.

I see where you're coming from, but I'd still think that overall Isreal's aim would be the same as everyone else's on the face of this planet - expand. Whether they wait a couple years to begin is a different issue.

I think overall though, if Isreal and the surrounding nations want peace, some kind of agreement needs to be drawn up and publicized so that if Isreal begins to expand without being taunted by outside military force to do so then it becomes detrimental for Isreal. The problem with that though, is America would never allow anything to happen to Isreal if it broke the agreement.

yes that's what am talking about hundreds of Palestinian people half of them are kids and womens died this week by Israeli attack , No body say a word about that , WHY ?????:confused::confused:

There is a common logic that controlled mainstream media always focus only on the Israel suffering while if Palestinian people died then no body give a shit for that ??

If you were Israeli citizen or Palestinian citizen and you lost your family in a bomb or tank missile , Will you just sit down and cry ?? or you gonna feel with rising rage in your heart for injustice world and decide to fight back.
