Ganceann brought up a good point about part 5 of the new TOS. It looks like revenue sharing sites like this would be not allowed because of the part that states, "other than Your Property(ies)".

What do the rest of you guys think? I feel like this topic needs to be further discussed on how it relates to revenue sharing because it is confusing.

Well if I created the thread, isn't it "sort of" my property? I'd look into DP FAQ but trying to get some stuff done.

Few days back, I asked this to google adsense support and they said that it is ok to use my adsense ID on other sites as long as the other site is not doing any thing thats against google terms.

So I think we dont have to worry about it.

Yes, the new TOS doesn't doesn't mention anything about legitimate use of revenue sharing - even though there is the google developer api that is designed to help developers set revenue sharing features into their applications.

It does come down to how 'other than your property(ies)' is interpreted by Google. I would think anything I created or contributed to a site would be my property on most revenue sharing sites, however, if it is in DP TOS that we transfer all rights to DP, then it isn't our property.

In otherwords, revenue sharing should be ok on websites that define user contributions as property of the user and not property of the site.
