Spam prevention is good but it's a NO Good when other's may snatch your site URL along with the traffic.

Well that what has happen to 1 of my site's that I had setup on blogger. It has been running up for more than 2 years with a steady traffic every day. But suddenly everything changes after I was stopped by blogger SPAM prevention system that had blocked access to my site for more than 3 weeks.

I had followed the Spam Prevention system requirement to enable back my site right after the second day. But it lasted until more than 3 week, I was unable to gain access to my site. I had also throw up few emails even cast a line on blogger help but i didn't help. :(

The worse thing happen is when I had gained access back to my site and OH MAY, the site url has been modified by blogger. And the actual url is been used by another site with the same site title. And further more the content of the site are XXX rated.

All the years I had my effort and simple been hijacked by other's. Till now there's no respon from blogger about this problem!!!

So Blogger's out there be careful......

makes it all the more wiser to get your own domains and hosting for blogs, i would never trust blogger or google or anyone that has control over my sites.

    sorry about your loss though

Yep, I agree, I have had blogger blogs deleted by blogger and recently had a squidoo lens locked (unlocked after the hassle of writing them an email). I have decided that if it ain't on my own domain then it ain't happenin' anymore.

What a pain in the neck to have invested all that time and effort and then lose it for no reason. Hope you get it back somehow.

Wow, the things that these companies will do. I wonder why they let someone else take your URL-was someone else willing to pay more than you do you reckon?
