I understand. You're not an extremist. You are for and in the majority.
And your majority is Christians, white, with a tie, heterosexuals, workers, in a family of 4, owning his home... Get it now.
Everybody else are minority. So they have no rights.
So let the majority to decide how to get rid of non christians, non white, no tie people, no heterosexuals, non workers, people in a family of 13 and renters or homelesses...

I don't live in US but if I did I would vote Republican. However, if the Democrats win (the majority) I think it's only fair the Democrats should run the country. I think if polls say we think gay marriage is a no-no, then you should accept the will of the majority. Same way I accept when the other party (not mine) wins. I think this is simple enough.

So if the majority decides for Democrats, and democrats decide for gay marriage, you will be against these marriage in yourself but will support the majority and the gay marriage then...?

The worst thing to do is let the ignorant, frightened masses decide what rights people should have. Whenever rights have been decided by public concensus someone always ends up getting shat on.

That's an idiotic point to argue with you. Despite the fact the MAJORITY of US is against homosexual marriage you still want it. You want the minority to rule on this subject, and yet if the Democrats (MAJORITY) wins, you want the gay marriage to go ahead. In other words stuff everyone else and I will not stop till I get my point accross whether anyone agrees or not.

You are frightened that if gay people can marry eventually someone will be able to marry their dog?

That is a slippery slope fallacy.

I already gave you the answer. You are the MINORITY. That means your opinion should count less. Now I got to go and make love to my wife cause it's late here and tomorrow I want to go to church. Making love to my wife means no need to worry about STD or worry about faeces tainted penis entering my rectum. I tell you what, making love the natural way you have a lot less worries and it also feels right mentally.

So you don't want to answer my question, right?
    What happen? fear?
I'm the minority? How's that now? I'm heterosexual...You said they are the majority and should decide for the minority...

Unless she cheats on you, as many hetero spouses do, and gets an STD...

That's actually a good question. By your logic, you go where everyone goes. The majority are the ones that code your brain and thoughts.
So then, a hypothetical situation, that the majority in the US will have no problem whatsoever to allow gay marriage. Would you agree with the MAJORITY ?
    A yes, or no.

I like how uneducated people compare people to animals. That's a great comparison.

There's already been a case that a woman 'married' a dolphin in the UK a few years ago.
I am against that, of course.

???? How do you go from gay marriage to marrying dogs?? i'm lost now you can even thing there is any kind of remote connection between the two.

So all this is about protecting 'Marriage' and keeping it something that is special between a man and a women? Far out so what are celebrates who get married must be secretly gay then because there marriages are a joke!.

Aw gee, there's nothing sadder than somebody who is lost. Let me help. You see, marriage is traditionally defined as the union between a man and a woman. That's the way it's been for centuries. Now, gay marriage is proposed. This falls outside what most would consider normal, and clearly outside the current definition. Since the trend seems to be to go as far outside the norm as possible, why stop at gay marriages? Why not throw animals into the mix? How dare anybody insinuate that such a marriage is any less valid. That's like sooo "uneducated."

Nail on the head, dear lady. That's exactly what all this is about.

Huh? Sorry, but I've no idea what you are saying here. None.
