Hello all, My account was just disabled by google. I have not done any of the things they say in their canned email. I wouldn't dare risk losing my account!!! How can I go about appealing this? Thanks
Your site (health one anyway) is using data-feed-pulling to populate your site with links. Aside from that, it has little substance that I can see from my brief look around, where, incidently, it is still showing Adsense. I would place that type of site under the category of 'built for adsense', which is against the TOS. That's my opinion anyway. What to do? I don't know because usually once your Adsense account is hosed, it tends to be gone forever.
Keep us posted gford, and get in correspondance with Google straight away about it. And don't try to apply for an account under anyone elses name, or your wifes. Mail Google sharpish. Find out the problem or stress you will rectifty it if any and that you take AdSense seriously, yadda yadda.. I hear they mail people if there's a problem with the sites BEFORE shutting 'em down, so it may just be an automated 'click fraud' thing, in which case, mail them and clear the issue up if you've done nothing wrong. Pete
Ooooh, dodgy. Not really something you want to do since the sites will currently be flagged. Apart from anything else, if they have disabled your account because of the sites, it won't be long before another account got disabled as well.
I'd appeal it either way. Keep trying till you get someone that can reactivate it. A friend went through 6 emails before threatening legal action and finally getting it reinstated... of course that was for supposed click fraud. Also you can setup an LLC/Corp. and apply for a new adsense account. But if they dont' want your site in the network that might not help. Either way I'd find out what the issue is before proceeding, send emails to every google address you can find.
Mcfox - The email specifically said my account was closed for click fraud, made no mention of "built for adsense".
Not only YOU are banned now, all your websites where adsense were in are banned now and when you open another account with THESE websites, you will be banned again (or your wife). I have read it in the Forums here - no chance. How many WIFES do you have(?) Here in germany is - thank good - only ONE allowed
man, I can just handle one ... how do you folks manage to have 4 wives? back to the subject: IF [big if!] you haven't done anything wrong, email google, and keep e-mailing them. You will get standard messages back from them, but your messages will be read (atleast that's my personal experience). Whatever you do: don't try to beat the system (... google is now 'the system' ... ) but work with it. If google bans you, they ban you. If they say red is green, red is green. So don't create new accounts, get a new domain etc. etc., all things that happened to your account are probaby caused by some trigger in their system so it will happen again if you start over with a new domain or new adsense account. good luck, and keep us posted!
The email always says "invalid clicks". It's a catch-all phrase Google use for anything which can cause an account to be disabled. If the account is being run on a website which is breaking the TOS then technically, all of the clicks it generates are invalid because the site breaks the rules. It doesn't necessarily mean click-fraud per se. Like I say, it's my opinion the reason your account was disabled was due to the way your sites were constructed with the data-feeds being pulled in the way they were. Basically, there was little or no original content and no visible means of running the site as a revenue generating one with other forms of advertising such as affiliate banners and the like. I believe that question to be the acid-test about whether a site is built for adsense or not: can it be monetized without Adsense? Not theoretically, but really. Is there a means of making money from the site other than via adsense? If the answer is no, then the site needs a lot of original content and should be prepared to run without adsense if necessary to build a genuine traffic stream. Adsense may then be considered so long as the site remains within the TOS.

I've been told that if G have a problem with a site, then they will let you know. If I can find the email then I'll go through what it said. I've had discussions in the past about one of my sites - G told me they weren't happy with the content of one site, I argued my case and changed the content to make it come across in a less abrasive way. They were happy Illegal clicks are one thing, decciding they don't like the site is quite another - and G are well aware of that fact.
What's your secret??!! I can't even keep a future prospect from dumping me, even after she shows a sign of having a crush on me!!! ie, that Cute chick!!!!
OK, my account was reopened but now i login (after 10 days of account reopened but login didnt work, said account didnt exist) and it says payment on hold. So now i am going through the process of trying to email someone about that! UGH!
You are way ahead of the game if Google is reviewing your account this fast. Perhaps Google feels the pressure of Yahoo and understands the value of a good producing account! This is good news indeed!
it might be something with chitika as well...they VERY seldolmy ban people. i've only heard of 1 and only because they clicked on their own ads hundreds of times. they don't ban people...they just audit at the end of the month
