You have too much time for n00bs so...Please answer my n00b question. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=416455#post416455
Mr. Webmaster that is good question. Although there have been people who had a few bars of green rep here get banned. But it turned out they were banned for a reason. I would imagine there is some correlation in the types of thing a person might say/post about that leaves distaste with readers that also might make them more likely to do something to violate Adsense policies. That is pure supposition on my part though.
Hi guys.. sorry if i bring you all to different story.. please help me.. this is real.. first : please visit this url.. http://www.mytechlab.net/content/view/17/9/ and this http://www.mytechlab.net/content/view/9/7/ Ok.. i know you all will ask me to go to google support, but please.. dont turn me down.. well.. what u guys think? as you can see, i have link to few site that offer affiliates and opportunity for you to earn extra cash (exclude paid for survery site - i dont put it here). Do you guys see anywhere at that page anything i had put that can be consider again the tos? well, i know u guys will ask me again to double confirm with the adsense support, dont worry, i will do it after this.. second : this is really bad (for me ofcourse). Yesterday, i run through my site and see one advertisement that really make me want to have a look at it. So what i do was (i am using firefox), i right click the link and click at "Copy Link Location". Then i open a new browser and paste the link and without checking the link i paste, i straight away click "GO". ok.. i found this "Prohibited Clicks and Impressions Any method that artificially generates clicks or impressions is strictly prohibited. These prohibited methods include but are not limited to: repeated manual clicks or impressions, incentives to click or to generate impressions, using robots, automated click and impression generating tools, or other deceptive software. Please note that clicking on your own ads for any reason is prohibited, to avoid potential inflation of advertiser costs." do my case can be consider as i am clicking at my own ads? Or ... :=( I am going to email google, but appreciate you guys advice first..
whew... i m glad i had reading the Google Policies... no participating in any forum that discussing hacking stuff... i had delete all my post at that forum :=) .. and delete my signature over there..
PPC advertising / affiliate programs are a different thing from getting paid to click..Google should be ok with it...after all Google adwords itself is a PPC program. Next time dont copy and paste a link .that is considered a CLICK...I dont know if firefox has one (have never used it) but the ad url can be seen in status bar of IE when the mouse is moved over the ad.
What you should do next is stop listening to sachin. Copying and pasting is not considered a click. How did you manage it anyway? I don't think it is possible to do that in IE or FireFox for a Google ad.
well... this is the link i get when i copy google adsense located above this forum http://pagead2.googlesyndication.co..._deferred_exchange&client=ca-pub-xxxxxxxxxxxx :=( "Right Click > option available 1. Open link in new window 2. Open link in new tab 3. bookmark link 4. save link as 5. send link 6. copy link location 7. properties I choose option 6

There is no copy location option for me. Maybe we're using different IE versions? And yes, you're right, it would be considered a click with the pub id, my mistake.
The only way to get a click verified by Adsense is to use the javascript. That's the whole purpose of the tracking method in place.
well. guys.. i had email adsense support. I will let you know the feedback. Thanks for your help . hope the reply will be positive
Next time if you want to check the ads, use preview tool, or directly type the address into the address bar or copy the link location, remove the pub-id(So it wont credited in your account). or copy adurl part form the URL which looks like this - "adurl=http://www.fxstyle-templates.com" //pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/iclk?A_LONG_RANDOM_STRING_HERE&[/url]adurl=http://www.fxstyle-templates.com&client=ca-pub- and copy it to address bar to view the ads.
weird... i email to Google 3 days ago.. until now still havent received any feedback... Well what u guys think about it??
Your site still showing adsense. So should be ok right now. Google won't ban you just for 1 click. Just make sure don't do it again.
