Logo Design Contest; $30 to the Winner

Well I'm back again looking for a logo for a new site. This URL is:

Bludy.com

For our purposes it should be pronounced the same as "bloody". The site will be a gothic/emo/wicca/vampire type image host. The logo should reflect this theme but nothing too dark. I'll try and check back often to leave feedback as the contest progresses and I don't expect it last longer than a couple days as in the past we've gotten excellent results quickly on this forum.

It's $30 to the winner payable by Paypal only as soon as the contest is ended.

@Adamant - Really good, both tries. Think the second one is a bit more in our direction, but love the full url under the name from the first. Really close to what we want.

@loko nice design, but looking for a bit more goth/vamp/emo. Feel like yours is for a blood donor site

@RNelson looks good, love the dark background and blood. But looking for more of a logo sized logo, yours seems a bit huge for that purpose, and not very brandable.

@krates Nice looking, but looking for something more stylized and brandable. Yours is a bit too realistic.

@saidesign not what we're looking for, but thanks for submiting.

Keep in mind this will be for a dark grey/black background site with a gothic/emo/dark feel to it. We also would like the logo to be a bit stylized and brandable for the site.

Here is my try.
It has a bloody Gothic touch with a 3d ring which describes it.

I have also an animated log with light falling from left.Provided on request.

 

This is a modified image accoring to your requirement. It is black having a gothic touch and ring.

@Adamant - love it. Top runner. My partner loves the bloody hand and would like to see it more prominent in the background. Can you try the logo on a dark grey or black background?

@weblazer - Nice. The "bludy" looks orange on my monitor, maybe a bit more deep red with a glossy blood look to it. Like the spider web, do you have any other clip arts you could try though?

@notorious desperado - thanks for your submission. It's a little too busy for our logo I think. Hard to read the bludy part. Just not what we had in mind.

@qprojects - Looking for a bit more stylized and "logo-ish", nice submission but it feels like a banner to me. Thanks for submitting.
