Well... I havent sold any car parts but overall I'm very pleased with the increase in commissions through the percentage program. As for "what types of sites", I have blocks like this all over the place: http://www.selfstartersweeklytips.com/jennifer.htm (this is just an example page to show site owners what the block looks like). You arent allowed to use the affiliate developer tools to display your own auctions on your own site through your own affiliate link... so I give ebay'ers that have their own website the code to promote their auctions through their site. Did that make sense? I also use it on some of my own affiliate sites. Like this one, for example: http://www.corkitup.com . (I'm a dart player - play in local league - so that "affiliate site" is no secret lol)
Careful of that URL Lynn, Ebay took away $800.00 in commissions a few months back because I used the word ebay in the url.
Guess I was penalized because of using ebay in my subdomain (which I was). The first condition of the TOS: Did really notice the writing between the brackets
Shawn, how many registrations do you have under you, or is that against the rules...or rude. I'm just interested...
umm, since the beginning of time, and those you get a percentage of the final bids from. I know I got about 30 registrations under me, and I hardly have any commission from bids, much less those huge bids. I would suspect you have quite a few.
You don't get paid on all bids forever for your registrations. You get paid on winning bids for people that clicked your link within 7 days of them making the bid (regardless if they already have an eBay account or not). So kind of irrelevant how many registrations I've had historically.
I thought you got like ten cents or something for all bids, back when I did it last year. Maybe I misread it. Maybe that's why I don't get any commission.
Nope... payment for winning bids are not tied to people you signed up. You get paid for winning bids for anyone that clicks your link within 7 days of making the bid.
I made about 500 bucks for registrations a while back, but havne't messed with it much lately. I would think eventually registrations would slow. I've heard that someone news goes online every second or something, but it still suprises me when people get hundreds of registrations per month.
Even more so is the change from bid to winning bid. I bet that cuts down the commission paid. Is there a time length they have to win a bid by, or do they have unlimited time for you to get paid?
If they place the bid within 7 days of their click you get paid (if they win it), regardless of when the auction closes.
Ebay Australia are currently offering 28 AUD about 21 USD for new signups via Com.J, sounds very good to me , problem is payment as far as I can see is only Checks to Aussies which incur cashing fee of around 40AUD for US checks (with Bank NAB )last time I tried this with a British check at least, interested if others have found a work around , thanks
It depends on how many ACRUs you drive per month... http://affiliates.ebay.com.au/how-affiliate-program-works/compensation/ Ranges from $12-28 US.
Cj can send you cheques in Australia dollars. Commonwealth Bank cashes foreign currency cheques for only $10, anyway.
