As i said....Were you lucky to get high PR on your very first try?

    It was PR6, PR5, PR4, PR3, PR2 or PR1 on your very first update?

What was your expectations after working so hard?

Hit n try method.. I failed sometimes... I passed sometimes!

On my very first try for PR seriously.. I hit a PR5  But when I was experimenting and didn't take PR seriously.. I always had PR3-PR4! :p

    Hello...

Biz-King Directory PR5 and Sleek Directory PR5 were Top dollar investments that cost well over xx,xxx in the begining and much time and NEW components have been added slowly in the last few months and we are expecting some good results this round as much more content and info have been added to them to make them different then others and hopefully true unique resources to the web.

    thx

On one site that I worked a lot on, it got a pr of 5 2 months after i registered the domain. Yahoo showed over 18 000 backlinks for it. Predicted pr6 at the next update....but we'll see. Funny thing, I wasn't even shooting for the PR, but for the SERPS.

I got PR3 my first update for a two month old site without spending much on advertising, mostly free directories and DP sig. I am not sure if it was luck because submitted to a crap load of directories.

I passed on one --and failed on 2 sites.

1 got PR6 in exactly 31 days of being online. The one which was PR3 and worked a lot-a lot-a lot got PR4:mad: Another one got from PR2 to 3 --another one (BLOG) launched on 25th January got PR4 --was expecting minimum PR5 for this.

    PR3! at the first shot.
This site has no links, no advertising, I do nothing with it, it is nowhere...
However, I'm working on another site, thousands of links, articles, ezine, go articles, sitemap, fresh content, etc...since 7 months...PR0!

I am certain that there is a lot more in building a Directory than evaluating which PR you have

A Directory Resource is so much more than a website depending on what PR its rated at :)

one of my new sites got pr3 in first pr update.

well, i didnt really do *anything* to promote it... and still to the date.. it hardly gets 30 uniques each day.... its just one of my spare sites i don't care about and dont have time to work on.

but reason for pr3 was its optimization... i optimized it well enough and google showed its love! :)
