i am selling something on DP and made these rules -Are they ok?

I am selling a forum list on DP and this is the disclaimer i wrote:

My forum list is NOT for resale.You CANNOT give the list away for free or in a package.
You can NOT post any of the forums in my list in the digitalpoint forums or namepros forums or any other forums.
You CANNOT use the forums in my list in your signature on any forums.
You CANNOT share my forum list with anyone by email,IM,or on any social networking site like myspace,bebo,etc

Some people were say they will not accept my disclaiming and post my forum list i made on DP. Are they allowed to do this?

 

No one can stop them, it's a gamble doing any transaction at all. You can make whatever rules, but not all will abide by them, that's just how it is.

why not, because people might already be a member of the forums and links to them from dp already, thats why not

 

Not that I was selling like you. But I have made lists of a particular subject. Posted it here at DP and 1 at my blog. Did a search a few times and found people had copied and pasted the info. Not that I didnt mind. What I did mind is they did not leave a link back to where they found the info. The list provided took several days. Roughly about 3. And I was constantly added and or updating the list. I just finally took the list down. And let people do the research on their own.

And Samantha has pretty much have/has nailed it on the head as well.

 

Rules are made to break....

They just read it and say, "Yes, I will abide them" and finally, they wont just remember at all!

Newsflash: You can't copyright URLs. People can do what ever they want to do with da URLs...even post them in the thread.

Now, who wants to buy the list and post da URLs!! *hint*

 

So you're just selling a list of forums and you have a sole right over it? I think anyone can research those for themselves.... if they really are large forums.
