Running Link-Vault and Co-Op on same page.

As I understand it - it is against the co-op TOS to run
both Link Vault ads and Co-Op ads on the same page.
(Unless the restriction has been lifted and I missed it)

Perhaps this point could be made very clear when signing
up or something as I keep seeing sites doing this (I wish I could too!)

Hey do you know if the LinkEqualizer system is not allowed as well? It does create an ad page on your server. Does this make a difference? I am having some trouble getting some sites to validate, is that related?

whoops - thought I posted this in the main co-op forum

    Yes - I'm 100% sure it's Link Vault

The "Friends:" section on the left is Link Vault
The Co-Op is at the bottom of the page.

Yep, my bad. I've been testing both networks on a couple of sites, but must have messed up the templates on one of them and left both networks on the same page. I've corrected the site to be compliant with the TOS, I think. Thanks for pointing it out.

    And here's another one:

    http://www.gameslogostones.com

If you are serious about enforcing this rule perhaps it would be a good idea to spefically mention LV somewhere on the setup page. Then there should be a real penalty for doing it. That might stop people from running both ads until someone notices.

Seems plenty of people are making this 'mistake'

(personally I'd prefer that the restriction was lifted)

    Why?

If that restriction ever got lifted the quality of the coop network would decline GREATLY. Before you knew it every site in the network would be 10 other networks and have 50 coop style link on every page.

Because so many people ignore the restriction as there is no penalty for 'trying it on'. If/when someone notices it, they simply have to remove one (for a while)

If the restriction exists - enforce it.

I'd rather there was a restriction on the number of external links. As it is there are plenty of sites with 10 links on every page, because they ARE running both Co-Op and Link Vault.
