need advice

Hi;

I have web site which is opened nearly 7 monhs ago . that web site was pr 4 before last pr update and it's pr 5 now.

Until today , google was sending nearly 5k visitors per day . G has stopped sending visitors suddenly . I have checked my index counts . there is no change on my index counts but i have dropped from my keywords .

Is the name of this sandbox effect or a punishment

Any suggest ?

what keywords people used to come from ?

The best answer would be check your stats and see where the problem come from .

 

yes , i have checked it . i have droped my most valueable keywords serp results but pages are still in google index

 

the important is the keywords not the pages ...

if u have 100k pages cached in google and none are in top 1000 for good keywords .. what is the benefit ?

 

I think you have to focus in getting Inbound Links to get back on it...

 

Sometimes Google does have sudden *farts* with its algo, when a new page comes in (even a nobody page) it could temporarily rank above better pages. As the person above said, try getting more inbound links, just make sure you don't make ANY drastic changes to your site (for a few days, at least) or else you risk getting punished even more.

 

what do you mean with drastic changes ? can you give an example pls ? i did not understand

 

I mean, sometimes when people notice a huge drop in Google traffic they try to target a new market, change their layout...etc.
