Can anyone suggest a hosting company that supports frontpage and forms that does not have hidden upcharges and service outages and half ass support? Please do not recommend the following crappy companies. dialtoneinternet.net idiots hostgator.com don't support fp features hostcentric.com morons don't support fp features lunarpages.com idiots and rip off and read http://www.diagnose-me.com/sucks/lunarpages.html
I'd recommend micfo.com, the best hosting company I have used. Trouble tickets are replied to in less than 5 minutes, and since my top priority has always been getting quick and decent custommer support I was really happy with them.
The main company is over seas. micfo.com I like to keep business and jobs in America. UAE (HQ) Shangri-la Hotel, 16th Floor Dubai, AE 65653 USA (Branch) 9340 Helena Road, Suite F-147 Birmingham, Alabama 35244 USA (Branch) 375 Brown St. West Lafayette, Indiana 47906 Organization Name: Micfo International LLC. First Name: Amir Last Name: Golestan Address 1: 9340 Helena Road, Suite F-147 Address 2: City: Birmingham StateProvince: AL PostalCode: 35244 Country: US Phone: +1.8666868611 Fax: +1.8662160961 EmailAddress:
WTF? They have 2 branches in the USA, what's the difference? Are you some vietnam veteran or something like that?
I am an American and do not believe in out sourcing. I don’t deal with over seas companies. If this guy is legitimate or even a US citizen then why not have his company registered here in the USA as a Corporation or a DBA?
I just guess for Tax reasons. Not paying any TAXES at all as an over seas company as a LLC. And an address at a hotel for a company location? UAE (HQ) Shangri-la Hotel, 16th Floor Dubai, AE 65653
Looks cute, but they don't list where they are and etc. I hate incomplete information about a company. And it annoys me to look it up. http://www.ogrehosting.com And the use EV1 - who also sucks! OH add BIZLAND to the crappy FrontPage hosting companies the acquired hostcentric.com shared hosting. And right now hostgator seems to on top of all them for FP hosting, they are way better then: dialtoneinternet.net idiots bizland don't support fp features hostcentric.com morons don't support fp features lunarpages.com idiots and rip off and read http://www.diagnose-me.com/sucks/lunarpages.html
Check out Parcom.net. Before I got my virtual server, I had nearly 50 domains hosted with them and they never had any down time or any other problems. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for reliable, affordable web hosting.
Nice. http://parcom.net/ and you get Parcom Internet Services : $3.75 750 MB : Since 1997 : High Quality Web Hosting and Domain Registration Services Now directing you to our new web site. Please click this link if you are not automatically re-directed: http://hosting.parcom.net I guess they don't know what they are doing or just want people to think they don't know what they are doing. Really an unprofessional page. I guess they don't know how to use htaccess to send people to http://hosting.parcom.net/ a subdomain.
Hosting Frontpage is a little difficult that what a lot of hsting companies put in. I would suggest a Windows server. We used Hostway prior to starting our own hosting and we were happy with their services and support. I have been working with some form of Frontpage or another since 1996 so that seems to help with us when make sure everything is up to date
gatordun, You have this huge list of hosting companies you hate because they don't support FP right... lol... did you ever stop to think that it's FP that sucks? Not the hosts? LOL.
Frontpage does have some problems but all WYSIWYG editors do. FP is very easy for some people to operate which makes it easy for people to get a website up and running. FP has come a long way since Frontpage Express.
FP itself is fine, it's a decent WYSIWYG editor, for sure. It's just the server-side stuff it does that makes it a nightmare. If you could design a site in FP, and then upload it in a normal way it would work fine.
