If i want rank my keyword in UK i can go for google.co.uk My question is google.com is global or US region search engine ? If global which one is for US region ? Awaiting for your answers !!
google.com is the US search engine, but can be easily accessed in other English speaking countries. google.co.uk is the UK search engine.
Google is specifically a world wide search engine divided into different domains for the most relative content within your local area. ex: google.com = usa google.ca = canada google.fr = france. etc...
If you want to specific keyword search result from uk.just try to get back links from the websites of uk and you can easily ranked up in uk search engine.
Google is a global search engine if you use google.com then the search will be global ... if you use the local google domain then the search will be bit local....
You can not access google.com seen in USA. If you what to check your ranking on google from USA, better search aol.com It is the most appropriate search results.
If it is only UK directly than get a uk based domain like you speak of. It will also rank global as well
So how can I get the global search results from Google? Do you mean that wherever I am, if I put in google.com, and search for certain terms, what I will get is American search results?
It would be more correct to say that the search results that are custom-tailored to the US location get displayed in google.com.
If you want to see search results for another location, you need to use URL parameters. for example, if I wanted to do a UK search from the USA with Google.com: https://www.google.com/search?q=banks&gl=uk&pws=0 GL=country code (use Google to find the list of country codes!). Going to google.com/ncr from outside the USA just shows global results/rankings.
