I have a few questions for you: 1. Let's imagine for a moment that the Iraqi government was ready for a complete transition of responsibility and we were completely ready to redeploy. Would you actually support military action against Iran or North Korea? 2. Where would you stage military action against Iran from? 3. Have you considered that Iraq is currently using ground forces, but not making extensive use or air and naval forces? Have you considered that we could engage either Iran or North Korea with only our air and naval forces for years before we needed to commit more than a token number of ground forces?
Maybe this article will remind us AGAIN the great job Bush (monkey) is doing. How he is so out of touch with whats going on. The most clueless US president ever. http://news.yahoo.com/s/thenation/20061010/cm_thenation/1128967
Substituting someone else's opinion for your own? Must be cool not to think for yourself. Kerry is promoting direct talks with the Norks. This is what he wants, direct talks with the US. While you are mad that the US isn't doing enough, you whine we are doing too much elsewhere. Which is it. Do you want the US to be the world's police or do not? Is Japan, China, Russia (all countries actually in range of the nukes) incapable of doing anything without us?
Bahahahahahaha... what a load of crap. "Kerry put the latest development in perspective by suggesting that the mere fact of North Korea's threaten was evidence of failed diplomacy." Just as if Hitler's invasions of Austria, Poland, France, Belgium, Norway, etc... were the results of failed British and American diplomacy. No, some people are just bad people who are going to do bad things no matter how much you pander to their wishes. Someone needs to go back to pre-school and go over Aesop's parable of the wolf and the sheep again.
I DONT WANT my country to police the whole world. It is not our job! Not to mention we can't police our own country how the hell can we police the world? How can our country and its people be so arrogant think that we have the solution to the problem when our own democracy and society is in jeopardy.
It seems simple enough. If we hadn't elected George Bush, there would be no terrorism and North Korea would be a theme park because all of the bad people in the world would look at us and say "See, there is no one left in the world but us wolves and all of these nice sheep, so let's just all live in peace." And then we would all have cake and ice cream and mumsie and dadsie would put us to bed and we would have beautiful dreams. The end.
I still got beer though. But as a result, lost my ability to reply tonight. Maybe I'll clean my guns instead of typing.
I can't drink beer after my biology teacher told me once (in high school...long time ago) that the color come from bacteria poo. Somehow, its not very apetizing.
