I would like to know if there are any good affiliates I should know about for my ps3 website www.ps3center.net ? Maybe some game related affiliates?

the video game niche is very, very hard to monetize well. something like gamefly might work, but quite often a lot of the people on those sites don't even have credit cards.

could try pushing video game ring tones too, I suppose.

generally cpm/cpc stuff is what's used most often to monetize video gaming sites.

yeah I'm afraid disgust is right. I have a PS3 site myself and I'm having a hard time making any cash off it.

wait until the ps3 actually comes out, then the affiliate programs will start to push out some ps3 links. That's my theory anyway.

yea I`m planning to open an amazon affiliate store on ps3center.net .. I`m gonna get it fully integrated in my design, however I`m worried that these kids wont have credit cards or $$ to spend on amazon and I wont make any profit. Same thing for affiliate programs ... I dont think these programs are pointed towards gaming websites .. since the age group is usually younger

yahoo does a lot better than adsense for my video game sites, but they have more restrictions. chitika didn't even come close to adsense or ypn, for me.

Yea I think i`m gonna drop the whole ps3center.net store. I`ll maybe add a new feature with VBulletin forums .. like premium members. I`ll setup an additional section for them with downloads, bigger avatars etc. They`ll pay like 20$ a year and have a bunch of extra features!

Nah don't give up on the store - try these:
    www.lik-sang.com
    www.play-asia.com
    www.modchipstore.com
    www.modchipman.com

For PlayStation stuff (and gaming in general) Play-Asia and Lik-Sang are cool to deal with. One of my sites, (iPlayPlayStation), has made some good sales from both of them. Both stores have good banners, simple affiliate admin pages, and good affiliate tracking and stats. The modchip affiliate programs are probably less useful for you at the moment, but they may be in the future (once the PS3 has its cherry popped). Maybe try and target an older audience (with credit cards), instead of kids with no cash.

Yes, my affiliate link is attached to all those links above :D

well with the current look of the website, it does look more pro, so it might attract and older audience with credit cards. From looking at your site.. it looks really well organized. I noticed that your shop is affiliated with ebay, how does that work ? And is your shop profitable for you?
