I went to bed last night and had earned X,XXX. With 3 hours left for that to still increase higher. I woke up this morning and checked it and not only was it not X,XXX but it was 25% less than what i saw when i went to bed.

Did this happen to anyone else?

From what i have seen so far in this forum, they are for 'so-called' invalid clicks, however, i believe that there is no way in hell that 25% are invalid, they are probably clicks from outside of America.

If it is true, it is like scilencing the world from americas point of view, and i would hate yahoo if this was the case.

but this has never happened to me before. i have been with yahoo for 10 months. I'm trying to find out if this happens to other people? I remember seeing complaints about this a while ago, but not recently. That's why i believe it's fishy.

It could be you are getting clicks from international traffic which is being edited out.

I havent used YPN for awhile, but I am pretty sure that the amount you see during the day is just "Estimated". International traffic could get their clicks removed, and there may be other factors affecting it.

    hi,

i have had the exact same problem last night. i went to bed at 7pm pst with my balance recorded. when i woke up and ran reports, my total for yesterday was 25% less than my 7pm number. this has never happened to me before either.

invalid and international clicks are supposed to be audited on the fly. i assume there was a problem with this and they took it out after. why dont you give ypn a call for the both of us and see what they say. they took alot of money out of my daily total. i understand that the daily total is estimate but i've never been "audited" like this before.

Although they might have just saved it all to take out at the end instead of while it's happening. I'm still wayyy below my daily average. Yesterdays daily total stands out like a soar thumb, that's how low it is compared to the others.

I am going to wait to see if it happens again tonight. If it happens again tonight i'm going to call my account manager.

im calling right now. too many people have had the same problem with the same 25%. you are right, maybe they saved it to the end. but more people would be complaining because then it should have happened to everyone. I'll let you know what they say

It is true that Yahoo Likes US traffic and would even ban web sites that bring too much out side traffic.

So, I do understand if they discount for Non US clicks.

It is sad but it is true.

    Thanks

haha I doubt Yahoo is capable of taking out international traffic, because if they could do it then they could have included geo-targeting in the YPN code.
